This is a full fledged restaurant that serves absolutely delicious food. We went by after church and it was only a 20 min wait. Not bad. The service was excellent. The decor is just breathtaking. But the food stole the show. My friend ordered a...More

The Teahouse is beautiful and if you have never been there it’s worth a visit for the lovely architecture. The waiter was very helpful in choosing a meal for lunch, but the food was just okay. I wouldn’t rush back.

What a wonderful place for afternoon tea, lunch and taking visitors. Great food and the teahouse itself is breathtaking.

Architecture and decoration worth a visit. They do get busy, expect a wait on a nice weekend, but outdoors is lovely also with the sound of the creek burbling by. Had the samosas and fish cakes with our tea but the food is passable, not...More

My friend highly recommended this place so I went. Loved the interiors and the history.. their hummus platter and Chai tea latte! The service wasn't too nice though so I hope they address that.

Food is OK, service was fine, tea was good. The building is a must-see. So beautiful. A lovely place to meet a friend or family member for a cup of tea and a snack.

I was so excited to eat Tajikistani food and really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I was under impressed and disappointed. The atmosphere was wonderful, eating outside and enjoying the sights and sounds. Waitstaff was rather impersonal and very matter of fact and...More

I always bring visitors from out of town to Dushanbe tea house, and it's a special place to get a meal. I love the building, the tea, and I love that the menu is pretty eclectic. But, I always feel like I expect just a...More

Great place for hangout. Love their interior design, love their teas and desserts. They have decent food in my opinion but I love to come there anyway specially during summer where you can seat outside and enjoy the view around it.

The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is nestled against the Rocky Mountain Foothills in Boulder Colorado. Sitting alongside Boulder Creek in Central Park, the Teahouse is considered one of Boulder's most attractive and popular tourist attractions, as well as being a local favorite for great food, tea, and atmosphere. Completely built by hand without the use of any power tools, the Teahouse was constructed in Dushanbe, Tajikistan as a gift to their sister city, Boulder. It was disassembled, crated up, and sent halfway around the world to be rebuilt in Boulder as a symbol of friendship and cultural exploration. The elaborate and creative teahouse now sits as a reminder to the citizens of Boulder to value cultural diversity, global cooperation, and international friendship.
