Sherpas is a special dining experience with it's casual, homey ambiance and authentic Tiberan food. Every dish was made to perfection.

This is a cozy, comfortable restaurant with good chai, and tibetan food. The naan bread, and the curries are excellent. The soup was a bit spicy, but delicious with lots of veggies. The other dishes we had were excellent also.

Sherpas is in a renovated two story house at the west end of Boulders Pearl Street Mall, a bit off the beaten path. In fact my LYFT driver at first wasn't 100% sure of which house it was. It's kind of dark from the outside,...More

The fabulous food was worth the wait. There were many to-go orders as we were waiting for our food, so perhaps that explained the wait. The staff was attentive - not American-friendly, but that's simply a cultural difference. I had the Dall Baht and my...More

So a girl I was dating (a local) praised this restaurant and so I was obviously excited about going there with her. All-though the place looked very nice and unique, my experience left me wanting. To start, our waiters didn't seem too enthusiastic about us...More

Sherpa's ale made in Ft Collins is very drinkable. Prepare to overeat. Food is so good and portions are generous.

The food is delicious and the service is fast. We preferred the Indian-style items of the menu, but the momo appetizer is fantastic!

I can't believe that everyone who works here used to be a real Sherpa in the Himalayas! So cool!! Not to mention their wonderful food! A must visit!

I am not sure what ethnicity this is, but it is filled with Himalayan artifacts and memorabilia. My son and wife love this place, but I must admit this Indian-Pakistani food was spicy, which I usually like, but I had to stay close to the...More

Lots of outdoor seating under the shade of trees. The server brought us lentil crisps. We saw him use bare hands to grab the food, place it in the basket after handling menus and bills. Please consider using gloves! The menu is typical Indian with...More

It depends on when you are going; if a busy time probably a good idea. You can just walk in.

Description
Namaste! Welcome to Sherpa's Adventure Restaurant & Bar! Proudly serving Boulder since 2002, we offer a unique combination of authentic Nepali, Tibetan, and Indian cuisine in a family friendly atmosphere. As the name implies, we are genuine Sherpas from the Himalaya aiming to bring a little of Nepal and Tibet to Boulder. All of our food is true to authentic family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. We make our meals to order, including fresh breads, sauces, and desserts. Sherpa's Adventure Restaurant & Bar features an authentic, charcoal-fired Tandoor clay oven for heart-healthy, low-fat meals. You can taste the authenticity and quality in our famous Chicken Tikka Masala and homemade Tibetan dumplings, stuffed with Himalayan spices. In addition to our delicious food, we offer a truly unique Traveler's Library & Lounge with plenty of books to help get you started planning your next adventure! Feel free to peruse the displayed Sherpa history and photos, explore our expedition, trekking, and volunteer trip booking opportunities, and look over our list of guest speakers. We hope Sherpa's Adventure Restaurant & Bar provides all we intend it to - good food, cold beer, a little inspiration, a little education, and an escape to the Himalayas - all without leaving the shadow of the Flat Irons.
