A friend of mine who lived in Boulder has been talking about this place for years. It's his favorite deli and sandwich place and if he was giving this review it would be a glorious 5 stars!!! But I'm writing it and the best I...More

Salvaggio's is the real deal. Boars head meats, fresh veggies, fresh bread. It's just all around great. If you miss the brownie while your here then you're really missing out. Go run a few extra miles if your feeling guilty. It's Boulder, right?

This is a MUST see place in Boulder. The hot pastrami sandwich on their freshly baked bread is simply to-die-for.

I've been going to Salvagio's for over 15 years and I'm sad that the bread has gone down hill so much. They've downgraded the quality of their bread recipe twice over the 15 years and it's sad you can't get a good sandwich on NY...More
Bread is good. Meat is Boar's Head, which is terrific. Sandwiches are reasonably sized, but not super generous. Service isn't the fastest, so lines can form around lunchtime. One thing I didn't see that surprised me was the option to add bacon to a sandwich....More
