I've visited King's Chef a few times, and each time has been amazing. The food is always reliable (something that is hard to find in this town!), and I always receive great service. It is odd to have a breakfast/brunch place without a liquor license or capability to pay with credit card, but they are upfront about that as soon... More

They pile food in ways I never imagined - and then douse it in either white gravy or their green chili. I've heard of Colorado green chili, but never sampled it before. It's my new obsession. Whatever you're ordering, get the 1/4 unless you have 6 people there to share. Their french toast is perfectly normal and plenty to share... More

The food was excellent! I had the... More

I was not blown away by King's Chef Diner. The portions are huge but you pay for them. There were 7 of us for lunch and it was over 95.00. The food was not bad but it was not memorable either. Very average.

We stopped here last May LOVED it and made sure when we planned this year's trip that we'd stop here. We sat at the bar. Staff gave us great tips for the Great Sand Dunes. The food was fantastic and plentiful. Buy salsa to bring home.

We visited last year and had to go back! They did not disappoint. But this time I did order a 1/4 order and it was perfect. Husband did a pound burger and fries and loved it. We have only visited the purple castle location. If you want a great meal and done amazing green chili check them out. Keep in... More
