Edelweiss is one of my favorite restaurants in C-Springs, lunch or dinner. Its a decades long, long distance relationship. Very nice jaegerschnitzel, better than I had at some locations in Germany. Nicely breaded pork cutlet slathered with a rich brown gravy laden with mushrooms over...More

Went here for dinner and had a delicious meal. I ordered the jager schnitzel and it was perfectly cooked and came with mixed vegetables and spaetzel. The portions are very large and you could definitely share a meal. They also bring you a trio of...More

The atmosphere here is reminiscent of many of the old restaurants I've visited in Germany. Loved that part! The bier was really good! Nice selection and very authentic. The food was okay. The salad was nice. It had a variety of things in it. However,...More

Our group 8 people recently dined at Edelweiss. The decor and ambiance certainly have a 'welcome' feel, but it's the food that keeps people coming back. Our table ordered Schnitzel, Rouladen, Bratwurst, Spiessbraten, and the kid's crepes. We wound up sampling each other's dinner and...More

We visited on way to son. Excellent food and service. Staff was so friendly and prompt. They also had the owner stop by. The best restaurant ever.

Absolutely fantastic German food. You know the restaurant is going to be good when they give you a real German dinner salad To start the meal. My wife had Jager schnitzel and I had the Weiss wurst and both were prepared perfectly. Spaetzel was awesome...More

We ordered the Dinner Edelweiss Platte, crab cakes and Apple strudel. Good portions of meat and the Strudel was delicious.

We can always make something from scratch that would satisfy all those requirements. When you come in take a look at the menu and talk with the server and she can coordinate with the Chef. Thank you!

Description
For over 40 years this family-owned German Restaurant on the south side of Colorado Springs has served over a million happy customers. The restaurant invites guests to dine in one of its several rooms decorated with artifacts from Europe. With strolling musicians on Friday and Saturday nights, three blazing fireplaces in winter, and an authentic "Biergarten" in summer, you are sure to enter into another world as a guest at Edelweiss. The authentic menu with a variety of Old World German dishes includes Schnitzel, Bratwurst, and Sauerbraten, with newer-age items such as Flammekuchen and Maultaschen. For those not so adventurous palates Edelweiss offers other Continental fare such as Chicken Cordon Bleu, Filet Tournedos, or Fresh Salmon Filet. Imported German Beers and Wines can be ordered to compliment any of the flavorful dishes. The European-trained Swiss Pastry Chef bakes all of the desserts from scratch, so save room for one of the rich Tortes or pastries, or take some to go.
