Recently visited this restaurant. We didn't pre-book but were pleasantly surprised that a table was free. Excellent food, well presented. If you like sea food or any food, you will enjoy this restaurant with wonderful sea views.

On Tuesday myself, my wife and an Irish friend of ours visited The Glyde Inn. We began with a few drinks and were greeted with very polite staff. In particular a young girl which answered many questions we had about the old bar, the local...More
The front of the inn looks like a typical Irish pub when you get through to the restaurant the view is magnificent and the service better than good the fish is great
Having being here once before a very long time ago, we thought it was time for another visit. We were not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere as we walked in the door. We ordered mussels which were really lovely & a very big portion as a starter....More
Imposing history, lovely room, very kind service, best food of the world (including the honey and the gin) … and an unforgettable breakfast concert. We liked it so much. Only one «negative» point: too short holiday

What a revelation to find The Glyde Inn a modern welcoming restaurant and bar with beautiful views of the coolie and mourne mountains. Great guinness, live music and an attractive menu. Very much a 21st century destination.
