I have no idea how they could take all of the ingredients for breakfast tacos and yet make something so lacking any tastes. Except for the "salsa" which tasted like ketchup with a spash of vinegar. There was about one teaspoon of chorizo between the...More

Concourse C - Denver International Airport (DIA) I love their beet salad ... do check that the beet is not freezer burnt though. Quick service so you can take your salad on the flight with you. A little expensive, but good food is.

We ordered several appetizers and happy hour drinks. Food was nicely presented and flavors were unique. This place is on a pricey side, but a steal at happy hour prices and in general worth it. Unique interior. We were vety satisfied with the whole experience.

Amazing farm to table food in an airport (DIA) is unheard of, but Root Down is it. If you ever find yourself at DIA with time for a meal, you have to go here. Best salads, nice sliders and small plates, nice wines. Treat yourself!

I stop at the quick pick-up window of Root Down frequently at DIA. Always pleasant, fast service and excellent, healthy food.

Wasn't too bad for airport food, the beer selection is pretty nice, with some high octane selections that definitely gave me the courage to get on the plane! I'm closer to a carnivore than a vegetarian so the selection was a little skimpy for my...More

Menu constantly changing with the seasons. Some dishes are unforgettable and others you hope to forget. Parking is a pain.

Root Down is a very tightly packed venue with no major open space for a dog. As a dog owner, I wish US laws would be more like France where dogs in restaurants are a common event.

Unless we're going very early would try to find babysitter...is loud and crowded and unless your child is used to crowds would probably find somewhere else to go...many other restaurants around

Hi Mona, thanks so much for reaching out! Unfortunately, the DIA location is in Concourse C at the airport, and you have to pass through security and have a ticket in order to dine there. You can make a reservation for 7 at... More

Root Down aims to connect the neighborhood to a dining experience in the same way ingredients are connected to food. There should be a seamless bond between the elements and experience, which stimulates the senses and draws people in. Root Down serves “globally influenced seasonal cuisine,” which basically means we go where inspiration leads us. We’re not tied to one style or genre—we’re hoping to create one of our own. At Root Down we pride ourselves on striving to solve the ‘Omnivore’s Dilemma.’ We have created a dining spot where all dietary needs will be accommodated, including vegetarian, vegan, raw and gluten free; also allergies or intolerances are always handled professionally by the kitchen team. Our menu has icons reflecting this philosophy, though we always request you notify your server of specific needs. We look forward to seeing you soon!
