We visit Denver often. Many great restaurants. But I was happy to walk into a restaurant with an older and better dressed crowd. A touch of elegance. And a great menu and wine list to match. Lovely waitress. And helpful sommelier. Wonderful, dressy, expensive experience. Sadly out of the world's best dessert wine, Tokai. That was the only blemish and... More

The cuisine here is very tasty, well presented, varied and unique. Great quiet and intimate atmosphere, with a very attentive staff. The restaurant prides itself on unique and innovative cuisine, which they deliver upon. I would recommend this restaurant when in Denver and looking for something different.

Start with Cocktails, Manhattan and Old Fashion, superb. Never fail to get the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Don't recoil in horror, the Cheese is very light, silky smooth and thin with an entire lobster claw in the middle plus chunks of lobster around it. I had the John Dory a lighted pan fried fish with a bit of skin left... More

Mizuna was absolutely fantastic. We have eaten here on several occasions and have never had a bad meal. It is excellent and a don't miss. Great presentation, great food, great staff. Small, quaint restaurant.

Fantastic little venue with a nice wine selection, excellent food and a quite/relaxing ambiance. We enjoyed a couple of the specials as well as the Mac-n-cheese with lobster (a nice appetizer) and a good glass of wine. The restaurant provided a good conversation atmosphere (we could hear easily and carry on a "normal voice" conversation) I will definitely be back!

I hadn't been in a while, but Mizuna never disappoints. We splurged and did the chef's sampler menu, which was worth it for a treat. They even included a special request for one of the courses. The service was top notch and never felt rushed. A special tip of the cap to our server Rocco who was excellent.

WE were here with a party of five. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. Small but eclectic menu. Extensive wine list. Fine service. Don't pass this one up.

The dinner service was excellent, the wine selection extensive and the food above high expectations. Reservations are strongly suggested. Try the arctic char!

Mizuna cannot be that good; it is. What can one say about a restaurant consistently rated at the top of Denver's best? Simply sit back and enjoy. Excellent som, perfectly trained and informative staff, and food prepared to perfection. A table starter of lobster mac and cheese will smartly preview any further orders from the menu. Perhaps the best evidence... More

My husband and I went here looking for a cozy dining room with delicious food. We were also attracted by the Beef Wellington which is hard to find on restaurant menus. We were not disappointed. The setting of Mizuna is very inviting. It was nice to find a quiet restaurant that has low ceilings where you can actually hear your... More

Opened in April 2001, Mizuna showcases Frank Bonanno’s dedication to fresh, simple ingredients and seamless service. The menu changes monthly and features dishes that range from local game to peekytoe crab. The fare is imaginative and artistic, but pure, clean flavors render even the most exotic fare familiar. Rated by Zagat’s as one of the top restaurants not just in Colorado, but in the nation, Mizuna is ultimately an American-style restaurant heavy on French technique, influence and philosophy.
