Stopped in the restaurant for dinner during my trip to downtown Denver and was not disappointed. I ended up grabbing seat at the bar where they served a full menu and the bartender could not have been more fantastic. He answered my questions and was...More

We stayed at the Crawford hotel (in the Union station), so it certainly was close enough. Nothing special about the restaurant itself (in terms of decor etc). What we really enjoyed was the food. Interesting dishes and wonderful flavors. We found a lot of "ff"'s...More

By far my favorite lunch spot in Denver. I love their daily fresh soup of the day and grilled cheese of the day. Their chefs are so creative, and you can watch them work while you sip your coffee!

On our visit to Denver we made it a point to have a meal here having read so many good things. We were not disappointed. The dining room with two story high ceilings and open space was just beautiful. We started with the Roasted Beet...More

The offerings were very eclectic ranging from duck through fish to meats. The portions were small (duck) and small plates but they were tasty. Our waiters were knowledgable and accommodating

My brother and his girlfriend and I came here after Mile High Holiday celebrations. I’m vegetarian and the Celery Root soup with gnocchi was excellent, as was the Roasted Delicata Squash. The ambiance was festive and all of us highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife, daughter, and I went there the evening of November 22, 2017. The food was good as was the waiter. I ordered the rigatoni and my wife ordered the ravioli. The waiter told us the portions were small. My mistake was not questioning what...More

Wanted to spend some time, check out what union station has to offer with its recent redevelopment. Tried the mercantile, nice atomosphere, good if you have time and don't want table service. Pastries looked better than they tasted, same for the coffee, for all the...More

This was just a quick coffee and pastry stop before getting on the train, however, based on that experience, we'll be back for dinner. The house-made almond milk latte was out of this world - by far, the best latte I've ever had. The coffee...More

We recently celebrated my wife's 75th and our granddaughter's 7th birthdays at the Mercantile. As expected the food was superb, but unfortunately the service wasn't. We ordered the rib eye steak for three as an entree, to be served medium rare. Sixty minutes after our...More

As mentiond above it is Denver. When I went we were doing a pedal hopper so I was in a polo and shorts. It also really depends on where you are sitting and when. Lunch I would imagine could be informal getting a sandwich... More

Yes. You don't see a lot of kids there...probably because rather expensive and unusual menu. However it is lively, casual and a fun atmosphere. If weather good you can also sit on patio. Union Station will worth a visit
