Stopped here for breakfast and really enjoyed their “oats on oats” bowl of steel oats and assortment of berries. I also enjoyed the croissant French toast served with a compote of fruit and roasted walnuts. It was very light and the best French toast I...More

In terms of food quality, my view is that this place ranks among the very best in Denver, particularly for fish dishes. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the wine list seems carefully and well put together. The drawbacks for me are the noise...More

Been to Mercantile for lunch and brunch but first time for dinner. Lunch is hectic and takes a while and costs. Brunch is calmer but you have to buy toast with egg dishes. Dinner is more sedate. Room is all dressed up and seems more...More

Mercantile is a great space in Union Station. Nothing about this restaurant disappoints. Great atmosphere, service, cocktails and above all, the food is what you'd expect from a James Beard winner. We tried the halibut cheeks, and shishito peppers as starters. Both were fantastic, but...More

The first day in Denver we enjoyed our breakfast. Coffee was really good. We liked it so much we returned the next day for lunch. A must do in Denver.

Just what you'd expect from a James Beard winner. Everything thing is done at a luxury level in a casual and comfortable environment. Highly recommend an afternoon snack on the patio with some great provisions from there deli area. High expectations exceeded!

The Country Road Cafe is the kind of roadside spot you long for on a road trip but rarely discover. They take incredible pride into their thoughtful, fresh dishes. Envision The Wildwood, a savory combination of potato pancakes, covered in two eggs, roasted pork, avocado,...More

We stopped in for a lunch. The menu was interesting and food fresh and delicious! I had lemonade that was amazingly fresh and tart and also ordered a cheese sandwich.....made with tomato jam, cheese of the day and was delicious.

We are in town for my convention and in the mood for a classy dinner. The downtown dining scene is pretty in-demand on Fridays (apparently), and we got a 6:30 reservation. Excellent decision. I love good food, innovative menus and flavor profiles, and I am...More

As mentiond above it is Denver. When I went we were doing a pedal hopper so I was in a polo and shorts. It also really depends on where you are sitting and when. Lunch I would imagine could be informal getting a sandwich... More

Yes. You don't see a lot of kids there...probably because rather expensive and unusual menu. However it is lively, casual and a fun atmosphere. If weather good you can also sit on patio. Union Station will worth a visit
