Excellent service. Exquisite flavors and presentation. Fried Maitake Slider fantastic with fireworks of flavors. Yellowtail Crudo delicate and modestly balanced flavor in the Japanese tradition. Chestnut Agnolotti was superb. It needed complimentary slices of french bread for finishing off the truffles and velouté. Perhaps I...enjoy too much starch, but I kept thinking a fanciful display of Nishiki rice next to the lamb would have added something extra for visual and sauce/starch balance. Not quite like the Bear's "Forks" episode, but well worth the visit.More

We long anticipated taking Australian friends to Fruition. The service and the food were excellent. We were not disappointed and neither were our guests.

What a perfect meal, in a perfect environment, and with perfect staff! I don’t know if it’s just Denver’s hospitality, but the staff, from the front door to the chef, were all fantastic. I got recommendations for everything that I ate, and nothing was a...miss. So so terrific!More

. Many of the dishes feature ingredients grown on their farm and bring a special element to the plate. The wait staff are extremely knowledgeable and are very helpful with recommendations. This is definitely a spot you want on your Denver dining bucket list!

I went because of the great reviews. The host and staff are really friendly and helpful, but our food was super salty, so salty that I didn't finish it. Just the 2 small plates at the beginning were okei. For the prices I would have...expected a much better experience on the food.More

I've reviewed Fruition before, and until a few weeks ago had not eaten there for several years. Fruition still has amazingly unique and delicious dishes. I've only eaten there a few times in my life, and it's never not been expensive, but I've never been...disappointed by the quality of the experience. Fruition is truly a notch above most other fine restaurants in their taste and creativity and good service without an attitude. BST ... this time around, after my wife and I finished our wonderful dinner, our server came by to inform us that a 20% surcharge was now added to every bill, a surcharge that was divvied-up to ensure that ALL staff, down to the lowliest dishwasher, got a fair share of the house revenues. Fair enough. But then our waiter went to great pains to make it clear that this surcharge did NOT include his tip -- or, at least not his full tip -- BECAUSE it is shared with the rest of the staff in the house! This was odd, and very awkward. I mean, there is no way I'm going to pay another 20% on top of a 20% surcharge to an already expensive meal. So what is appropriate for good service? Another 5%? 10%? A couple of dollars? Can't they just incorporate the surcharge into the food prices and let us figure out a normal 'tip'? This was all very awkward and weird. It left a really bad taste in my mouth at the end of the night. This is the reason I no longer give Fruition 5 stars. Be aware when you enter their doors that their high prices are only the beginning of the surcharges on your wallet ...More

Over-hyped. Menu is limited. Dinner partner’s duck was so-so, and the accompanying onions were also so-so. My arctic char was too salty, and the underlying spinach was soggy. Tartare starter had a strange taste. Caesar salad was good with a nice presentation. Dessert menu was...limited to three items. Dinner came with an automatic 20% surcharge. Will not be back.More

Fruition has been a favorite restaurant for my husband and I, so it was natural that we would want to go there to celebrate our recent anniversary. Sadly, our dining experience was very disappointing! In the past we have loved Chef Alex Seidel's creative dishes,...his unique combinations of food (we once had a soup combining octupus and cantaloupe - delicious!!), the farm to table ingredients, the presentation of the meal, the wine pairings, the service and the excellent accommodations of my dietary restrictions (I'm gluten free and stay away from heavy dairy). There's a reason Fruition was considered one of the top restaurants in Denver and it was foodie heaven for us. Unfortunately, that has changed. The restaurant has a new chef and the atmosphere wasn't the same. The menu was surprisingly limited and it was difficult to even find anything unique and appealing. When I ordered the chicken liver mousse as an appetizer and asked for a gluten free option to the cibatta bread, I was informed they were out. Shocking considered my husband informed them of my dietary restriction when making the reservation and their website says, "We have vegetarian and gluten-free options at the ready." Not so! After sharing our disappointment at the menu, I did appreciate that one of the staff came to me personally to try to put together a dinner I could eat (there were only 5 choices for a main dish including a boring roasted cauliflower and shrimp and grits). I wound up getting the duck breast with roasted squash. My husband ordered the Bavette Steak, a flank steak that came with mashed potatoes and gravy. Nothing creative there!! My husband commented that the food was ok, but was rather plain and certainly not up to the dining experiences of the past. He further commented that the meal was one we could have cooked at home (we love to cook). My meal was similar - good, but plain. With only 3 options for dessert and nothing gluten-free, we were both eager to pay the bill and leave. I'm sad to say it was a very disappointing meal and didn't make for a good anniversary celebration. Fruition is definitely not the restaurant it once was under Chef Alex Seidel.More

After visiting the now sold Fruition Farm a few years ago, we were excited to celebrate a special occasion at Fruition Restaurant. The food was good, but truly not as exceptional as we anticipated. My Bavette Steak was good, but I've had better steaks consistently...at Capital Grille recently. My husbands Monk Fish was good, but the ham flavor really dominated. The dessert of tiramisu was good and the cookies excellent. Overall, just a little above average. What brings this review down from four stars is the 23% automatic gratuity. We customarily tip at 20% or above, but the service we received would've earned ~15%. My husband repeatedly refilled our drinks as our waiter was busy elsewhere. Knowing you'll get 23% however your performance, does not encourage exceptional service.More

We had an 8 and stood outside until 8:25. Service was the best part of the evening. The food was moderately interesting. I had the sea bass and spit with my partner. Very small serving especially at $27.00 It came with delicious brussel sprouts. Overall...I give this restaurant 3 out of 4 mainly due the service. Really overpriced and 2 1/2 stars for those reasons.More

Above average but not exceptional. The location is wonderful and the decorations and the interior is lovely. The music is pleasant and the wait staff was good. We went to football with a party of four and found the food to be a little bit...above average but not spectacular. My brisket was dried out to the point of almost being leathery. Another thing that took me off was that there is a 20% gratuity charge automatically charged every single order. I usually leave 20% plus always. however if I I’ve not had good service I would have been upset.More

Was staying at the #1 hostel in America nearby and was able to walk here for carry away. The homemade pasta with veggies, pancheta and the perfectly runny egg was out of this world. The side of brocolini was a nice addition and the lemon...meringue desert was so sweet lemony good. Total $48 including everything not cheap, but typical meal price in any major city.More

No, there is no bar. The restaurant is very small, but they serve a variety of cocktails and serve them to you at your table.
