The meal and service were superb. Far exceeded expectations. We will be back. The variety of dishes on the menu has expanded. The wine list is excellent.
The food was very good. Not fabulous for the prices. It is ala crate so expected fabulous food and although it was very good, did not live up to expectations. The service is superior however
Great steaks, reasonable prices, nice sides. Birthday cake came with fireworks and lots of laughs. The steak was charbroiled and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is truly western and was perfect for the outdoor forester who loved the toothed saws that constituted art on the wall.
More of a noisy, crowded hangout for the college and nigh crowd locals. Food was fair, but it's hard to hear each other talking across the table due to the rowdies on a Saturday night.
We drove by the Ore House when we arrived in Durango. We had no idea that inside was a fabulous and very nice steak house. We made reservations, it was very busy, and shared the special of the night. Incredible steaks... wonderful desserts. Service was impeccable. Great place but definitely not on a budget.

Made reservation via Trip Advisor and were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. Service wasn't over done, just right. Ore House is fairly expensive, but it is in the tourist... More

The kids menu is good, specifically the 'Kid Poison' drink which my kids are still talking about. And for the adults, excellent food. Excellent steak, fantastic scallops. The cornbread with bacon butter is a nice touch. A really... More
My husband and I were passing through Durango and we wanted a nice place to sit down and eat. First time we ate here because we do not live there. I had the chicken cordon bleu with a baked potato and my husband had the steak and fries. We truly enjoyed the taste of the food. It was very good,... More
