We went there as it came recommended by our airbnb host and we were not disappointed. The food tasted really fresh, the restaurant was clean and had a nice decor and the service was very friendly and took great care of us. We had the ginger stir fried in medium (which was too hot for my friend's taste buds but... More

For 9 months now, I've been trying to find good Thai food in Denver and with Aung's, I finally did. It is an unassuming location but the food is perfectly cooked and the service is great. There are no compromises here, no so-called "Asian Fusion" like you see at so many other restaurants in the area where you go in... More

In Denver for a couple days, and went to Aung's with a friend on his recommendation. Wow!! Our server was top drawer, I had the Panang curry, we split the fried tofu and steamer buns appetizers, he had a hot seafood curry. Simply one of the best Thai meals I've been party to in an age. I would heartily recommend... More

Really good Thai, and I understand it's more authentic than most. We usually get the chicken satay to start, then some noodle dishes. We love their various pad thai options, as well as pad see ew and drunken noodles. You choose what protein you want and also what spice level. Service is expeditious. Portions are enough to have some leftovers,... More

Went for lunch on a cool brisk afternoon. Had the mussamum curry and was not disappointed. It was delicious!! My husband had the drunken noodles and left his plate completely empty! The staff is friendly and quick! Will go back many times!

The first time I dined here alone as my husband wasn't doing too well. I had the basil chicken Thai hot. The man who took my order seemed a bit concerned at my choice of spice level...but I really like spicy foods. It seemed as if they added jalapeños. I would have preferred more basil. Oh well. My second visit... More

I think this place is great, but I have no idea why it's never busy. It should be. The food is delicious and the service is great. I suppose there's nothing that differentiates it from other good Thai restaurants; but, it's consistently great Thai food with all the dishes you would expect. What's not to love about that?

We visited for a quick lunch on a weekend. Service was friendly and we did receive the meal pronto. My Pad Thai was overly salty and bland. My partner ordered chicken satay which was tasty but tough. As another reviewer mentioned the ownership has changed.

Ok, I've never been to Thailand, but I sure hope the food there tastes as good as in Bangkok Cafe. This is a family owned and operated restaurant. They are always very courteous and willing to accommodate all requests. The food is amazing! I always get the pineapple curry with chicken. Yum! Yum! Expect the medium to be hot though!
