Nice staff, decent space. Under seasoned and slightly mushy rice that was too cold; watery flavor and stiff texture for some of the fish. No off tastes or smells although I've had better sweet shrimp. House saki actually tasted watered down. OK for discount sushi. Not OK if you're craving good sushi.

Went in for lunch and had the Jalapeño Bomb (which was absolutely amazing) and the 3 rolls for $11.99 lunch special. It did not disappoint!! Portions were not huge but they were the perfect size for such an amazing deal. Topped it off with arguably the best Green Tea Mochi I've ever had and the bill was insanely reasonable!! Server... I ordered the salmon avocado roll and the tuna avocado roll, both are gluten free. Pros: tuna and salmon, lunch combo prices, pickled ginger, bite size pieces for smaller mouths // cons: nori is a little tough, avocado a little mushy, rolls are super loose. I'll be back!

Right off the corner of College Avenue and Prospect Road sits this modest hut with a parking lot equipped for no more than 15 vehicles. As you roll into the crumbling parking lot and open your car door, pushing aside the litter sprinkled generously on the ground, you get a good look at the less-than-inviting exterior. Open the door and... More

I used to dine in, but found the slanting floors and tables uncomfortable, so I started ordering "pick up." Many times I've been told it will be 20 or 30 minutes and have had to wait even longer. With a limited lunch hour, it's frustrating to have such poor service. They don't seem to be able to staff correctly and... More

It always amazes me how good sushi is compared to when I was a youngster. Land locked and far from Japan, fresh tasting artfully prepaired. Really attractive back lit Cherry Blossom ambiance. Miso was a little over salty but the green tea was above average. Sushi pieces were a bit larger than most of the Denver places I have been... More

Don't be fooled by the "boat" on the daily specials menu. It's no special deal, they charge full menu price on everything that goes in the "boat".

Great sushi. Must try the volcano role. The best presentation I've ever seen. Pretty tasty too! Had good choices for family members who aren't sushi lovers.

Great sushi...endless miso soup-good saki. The bento box meal was great and a really good value. There were a ton of sushi choices, all of ours ( fried shrimp, spicy tuna) was excellent

Description
Our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all rules while holding true to our roots. We hope that you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun
