We decided to try Caninos for dinner before the Brian Wilson concert. Quiet atmosphere in an old home. Service was excellent and prompt. We had the manacotti with meatballs. Very good. We will go back.

I've eaten here many times, and it's always pretty good. However, do not get the minestrone soup. It's worse than Campbell's--watery, tasteless, with hardly any vegetables or pasta.

Ordered the chicken and pasta, mushroom pasta, 2 bowls of soup and creme burlee. Total price $38. You can tell this is diffenently Homemade food; even the atmosphere felt homey. First time here. Can't wait to get back. Parking may be challenging.

Conveniently located right across the street from CSU, to the north. Good, free, off-street parking in the rear, in an area where parking is difficult. Really nice ambience, and all dressed up for Christmas. Friendly waitress spent time with us taking pictures, understanding that they needed to be just right. This is an old house that has been refurbished and... More

We dined recently for lunch with a large group of friends and had a delightful time. Despite the large group the service was efficient and personable. Food was served promptly and was a big hit all the way around the table. Portions were very generous for the price. My shrimp and pasta special was an exceptional value compared to many... More

The waitress was sullen and NOT user friendly. Acted like she did us a favor by waiting on us. Six of us were there for a birthday celebration and asked what dessert was available for the birthday girl. She said all of them, so we ordered thinking it was complimentary which most restaurants do. We also asked her to take... More

The pasta is freshly made daily. The sauces are great and never salty. I highly recommend Caninos, owned by a local Fort Collins family. Doesn't get more authentic than this!

Have eaten here several times and will return! We prefer the downstairs dining areas for their ambience but in warm months don't forget to sit outside on their rooftop patio for a drink (or two)...🤗

Delicious sampler plate of spahetti, lasagna, ravioli for 1980 price on Tuesdays. Homemade spaghetti noodles were delicious, as was the other items. There was enough to take home for lunch the next day. They gave you hot yeast rolls before the food came out which were wonderfully seasoned. We didn't ask for more during the meal so not sure if... It's hard to pick any one special thing about this excellent Italian restaurant. It's located in a cute building that is rumored to have been a fraternity many years ago. The many rooms help contain the potential noisy conversations from fellow diners. The menu is varied and extensive - last night I tried the scallop primavera and it was as... More
