While visiting family at Ft. Collins checked out Hog Wild! Got 2 pulled pork plates = pretty good but pork was a little too salty for my taste. Sides were good too. Wife loved her brownie and homemade sauces were excellent. The person taking care of me from phone to pickup was very friendly and accommodating!

I've only found decent BBQ here in Colorado twice and Hog Wild is one of them. It's a no frills place but those are usually the best. Had the ribs and they are smokey and tender with a lot of meat on them. The potato salad is good... mayo based. Cowboy beans are so so. The BBQ is the star... More

I had a pick-up order for a BBQ I was hosting this past weekend for 40 people. The food I ordered was ready on time and packaged exactly the way I wanted it. I was so pleased that the pulled chicken (ordered by the whole chicken) was moist and there were big pieces of meat instead of mush. The BBQ... More

I had a beef brisket/pulled pork combo plate and it was excellent. The ribs were also very tasty. The only thing that wasn't quite top-notch were possibly the sides, but we arrived around 2, so maybe they just weren't as fresh. The cornbread, potato salad, and slaw were all OK, but they seemed to be lacking something. Still, we thought... More

My son attended CSU, and so I visited every fall. The first year I stayed in a motel near Hog Wild, loved the food enough that every year I returned to the area and went at least a few times.(OK, every other lunch) My favorite meal,(OK it was the only one I ate, every single time) was the Brisket, and... I have seen their mobile BBQ sitting there for years, but did not know they actually were a restaurant. Tonight I discovered delicious ribs close to home. They close at 6 pm, so that might be why I didn't know they had a place to eat. I got the ribs and they were smoked in hickory and tasted scrumptious. I... More

Locals might have to direct you, but go! Barbecue aroma may help find it. Hardly any seating, this is where you carry out a feast for a picnic.

Arrived at this place based on a recommendation. The perfect hole-in-the-wall. They have typical food; ribs, brisket, pork. The guy behind the counter fixed me a combo plate of ribs and brisket. I was sad when the plate was empty. They use a dry rub, no hiding the meat in sauce. The brisket was delicious with a perfect smoke ring.... More

It isn't a big place at all. Order from one counter pick up at another. Service was quick and friendly. Dining room is small and was crowded so I took it to go. Ribs and brisket were very good, loved the beans, potato salad was OK.

Thank Rod P
