I have tried this place a few times and every time the food is dry and tastes burnt. I would avoid at all costs.

We went to the Smokehouse Barbeque on North Academy. The service was lousy. I had ordered a few items, but I was told that they were not available. Then, when I ordered a refill on my drink, I had kept waiting as she never brought it. I felt like I was neglected throughout the entire service. bad customer service to... More

Our order of 12 (meaty) ribs and 1 pound each of pulled pork and pulled chicken with four sides came to $60 with military discount. These two "meals" seemed tailored for a hungry military guy. One of the sides was a piece of cornbread, 3"x"3"x1". No indoor dining but a couple picnic tables in grass outdoors.

This little place is the best kept secret in fountain. Family owned and run it serves up some tasty brisket sandwiches that are sure to have you coming back for more. Yes the price is a little steep for a sandwich and a side but your tastebuds will thank you 100 times over. Definitely a place to visit if you... More

Ordered pulled chicken and burnt ends. No smoke flavor in either meal. We have smoked meats at our home for years so we expected more than meat with a BBQ sauce fresh from the fridge added to the meat! Sides were average at best, hard/dry beans and ok potato salad.

Ordered 3 meat with 2 sides. Got mac & cheese & collard greens. Good portion of edible meat but sides were terrible. Mac & cheese was dry with very little cheese. Looked like leftovers from the night before. When I ask if I could get a different side, waitress & the owner said that is not the policy of this... More

You wouldn't believe that this tiny little place has the best variety. The secret is these folks are Kansas City folks. There are multiple meats, a variety of sides and sauces. My favorite is the brisket with their sweet and tangy sauce. Truly a treat.

A little different than most of the other barbecue places in the Springs, but they have burnt ends that are amazing! The owner was very friendly and open to feedback. We will definitely go back soon.

Stop this place for lunch with coworkers and all of us loved it! They have several sauces that you can pick from to get the that flavor you want. They sell the burnt ends which is plus in my book. Most of the sides appear to be homemade. Next time in area I will be stopping by.
