We love La Rouge. The ambiance is creative, intimate, relaxing. Welcoming service. Wonderful wine list - the local Colterris Cab was our pick. We shared the special peach/goat cheese/greens salad with pork tenderloin and rack of lamb - both done very nicely with delicious sauces. Delightful chocolate dessert. La Rouge is among the few best restaurants in Grand Junction.

We hit pay dirt this evening. Le Rouge had some of our winters favorites on the menu. We very much enjoyed the Beef Bourgignon as well as the cassoulet. We started off with the Belgium Endive salad. It was very very light and very tasty. They have an excellent crème brûlée to finish. Very reputable wine list as well as... More

Very nice staff, good food, great location. The outside patio has a wonderful canopy. Not sure how they stay in business with their prices.

The staff fitted in a large group of people on a business trip. Service was friendly. Menu was diversified and food tasty. Good wine selection though slightly pricey.

After a long day of flying, we chose to eat inside rather than out on the patio. Abstract paintings on the wall, interesting panels on the ceiling, fanciful lighting, a glass wall between the bar and restaurant - unique, charming and cozy. Server was very knowledgable about both the wine and the food. Made excellent suggestions. My husband had the... More

The food and service was excellent. My wife had the Scottish salmon. I had the pork chop. The only thing that spoilt it was something I had not experienced in almost 30 years. When you get the bill it is just for what you had. If you are paying with a credit card they automatically add 18% to the total... More

We stopped in for dinner unplanned. We had the escargot appetizer, my wife had a salad with the bacon wrapped chicken kebab thing. I had the scallops and we shared a blueberry creme brule. Everything was outstanding. We had a table outside right next to the street and enjoyed the Main Street atmosphere. The outside dining structure is just like... More

What a surprise! To find a little French restaurant in the hinterlands- downtown Grand Junction CO. Who knew? We expected the burger bars, pizza parlors and gastro pubs. Instead we happened on a small French restaurant with white table clothes, big wine glasses and nice silverware. Great French wine by the glass and delicious fresh halibut and a yummy veggie... We live in Denver and travel to Grand Junction once a year. Our "go to" restaurant is Le Rouge on Main Street. We love French food and Le Rouge compares well with Bistro Vendome, Coohill's and Cafe Marmotte. Patrice is a wonderful chef and the service is always top notch. This is authentic cuisine: well prepared and beautifully presented. When... More
