We've come here for dinner a few times. The meals are always well prepared and fresh. The waitstaff is always knowledgeable about the days menu and specials. Our favorite time to come is their relaxing Happy Hour after a long day or work week. The...More

We spent 2 "happy hours" with some friends here one Friday. The wine samplers and appetizers were incredible. Our server was a very savvy sommelier and gave us great information on the wines and food pairings. This is not cheap but quality was reflected and...More

My wife and I were in Grand Junction for a conference for my work. We brought our dog, thinking we'd get out on some fun adventures during breaks. We were somewhat discouraged, but then we found this restaurant where we could bring our puppy. The...More

Excellent posh atmosphere, the food is beautifully served, and always fresh. My absolute favorite cocktail is the Strawberry Peppercorn Martini, (sadly not always available and off menu!) The only thing keeping me from giving it the full 5 stars is the serving portions are a...More

Went there for their social hour and sat on patio. Nice to see the herbs they grow back there. My red wine was served just slightly chilled and it was a very pleasant surprise! First time I have had a red with a slight chill....More

A quick stop before a long drive out of town turned into a relaxing and delicious social hour or so. Save room for the meatballs too. The appetizers were so good, we thought of driving around the block a few times and staying for dinner.

We were just passing through Grand Junction and spending the night and wanted to find a place for dinner. It was a bit late (after 8) and we weren’t sure about places staying open later. We weren’t sure what restaurant to pick but I wanted...More

626 on Rood has a very original atmosphere. It is unusual for a place like Grand Junction. The food was good and the portions were reasonable. It’s expensive, and the menu has a lot of unusual food, and not a lot of options.
