We had a noon rafting outing planned at AWA, & arrived at the Sage Cafe which is 5 miles down the street, at 11 am, small, quaint little place with great attention to detail. The breakfast menu on the chalkboard looked yummy. We ordered lunch sandwiches & found all sandwiches to be incredibly fresh & made to order. The pulled... More

We were staying in Twin Lakes and went south on 24 to find Sage Cafe. I had read good reviews and we were not disappointed! We both had a burger which was very tasty. They have a bar where you can add items onto your burger/sandwich at no extra charge...pickles, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc, plus many dressings, not just ketchup and... More

Open in the summer, closed now. Probably open next spring. Serves rafters and travelers. Small café in Granite across the road from the Arkansas River.

Had a terrific sandwich at the Sage! They were out of almost everything by the time we got there but they went out of their way to make sure we were happy and full!

We were staying in Twin Lakes for a fishing getaway and found this beauty nearby. Very bright and cheerful place with great food. The interior has nice painted touches of aspens and everything is fresh and clean. The exterior is also painted with murals and has gorgeous window boxes of lovely flowers. Best of all is the food! We had... More

Driving by you would never know what great food is inside this unassuming building. Portions are large and the food is delicious. Cost averages $9 for a meal. Hand dipped ice cream is an added bonus or just a great stop for an afternoon ice cream. We plan to go any time we can.

We needed a little place to stop and have breakfast after leaving Leadville after a very disappointing stay at the Super 8 and happened upon the Sage Cafe a few miles down the road . What luck! The building is charming and clean with obvious pride taken by the owners and the breakfast burrito was out of this world! Robin... More

After leaving in Leadville so years, driving back and forth past this place everyday, not only am I so glad a business was opened again in this building. Sage is only open during the summer. The food was delicious and the service was superb. Cute little restaurant. My only complaint is that I wish they were open for one more... More

We figured we'd find some little place along the road and stop when we got hungry - got lucky with this clean, bright little place. The El Dorado omelette was one of the best ever! Coffee was great, staff of one was friendly and helpful, and the price was right. What's not to like?
