This place was once pretty much a greasy-spoon, dive. Well, had no other place to go last time visiting Hotchkiss and wow, what a difference. The teas are excellent, some organic, the food was fresh and clean and what I'd expect at more upscale places in Boulder, Colorado, where I live. Not afraid to eat here anymore.

Very nice staff. I got the turkey club with a side of potato salad. Very good and well priced. Restrooms clean and pleasant. Would come again.

Sad that a cafe can't even get a burger right. My burger was served in a timely manner. But, the bun just glistened with grease. Like it was sprayed with oil. The bun was also dry and crumbly. The kind that breaks apart while you try to eat it. THe burger itself was greasy and tasteless. The French fries matched... More

Stopped in for lunch while exploring the area. We were thrilled to find great veggie options - the veggie cold or hot sandwiches are a wonderful idea (had the cold, and it was super tasty). They offer different sides - most places your only choice is fries. We eat healthy - only plants and low/no oil, so the pickled beets... More

This was a return visit to the Home Town Cafe in Hotchkiss, while visiting friends---with the first being a year ago & we found it to be operating in the same manner which is providing delicious freshly-prepared meals by friendly, caring staff! Allyson & Jerry Bockman Rose, OK

OMG - soooo good! I was very excited to find out that they serve Walleye fish - in Hotchkiss? This was probably the best fish I've ever eaten in a restaurant, and I grew up in the Pacific Coast area in a family of fishermen. I was so sorry I couldn't finish my dinner, but I absolutely had to leave... More

Recently renamed Highpoint Cafe, or something along those lines I can't really remember now, I thought that this place was really good. I had a buffalo burger which was extremely good and the rest of the party also really enjoyed their meal too. Our waitress was lovely and very talkative and we had a lovely conversation at the end telling... More

The food was wonderful. The sausage patty that I had was as big as a hubcap!!! There was only one waitress, but she made everyone feel welcome.

We had dinner with the kids here when we stayed at the Hotchkiss inn. Zac's was closed and this was really the only option. The food was good and the staff was pleasant.
