Enjoyed a bowl of chile at the Silver Dollar. Quick service and wait staff answered all our questions about the ingredients in the chile. We don't like Kidney Beans (or any bean for that matter) in our chile. Bowls arrived quickly and we found the...More

If ever you're in Leadville, or near it, and you're ready for lunch....head to the Silver Dollar Saloon. We had the BEST burgers, and fries there! Sit right at the original carved wooden bar! The decor dates back to when the bar opened. The history...More

OMG, what a funky, eclectic place. The evening we visited, the place was a little quiet, so the bar keeper (and perhaps owner?) shared all kinds of stories and history about the place. Worth it to pop in for just drinks, walk around to read...More

A must see in Colorado. The history in the Silver Dollar is great. I was especially impressed with the huge one piece of wood bar.

We went for lunch, so cannot speak about the evening ambience. It was a lot of fun to visit- a ton of Old West memorabilia that is fascinating to adults and kids. Lunch menu was very basic-sandwiches and burgers.
