We visited the Gunther Toody’s restaurant in Littleton, Colorado at 10:00 am today. Note: Veteran's Day 2017 is advertised for free Big Bopper for veterans. In very small letters, it says the veteran must have an ID. I was there TODAY with my 85-year old...More

Enjoyed the entire lunch experience. Decor is strictly '50's diner --- vintage advertising, neon lights, chrome, booths & a counter. Waitresses renamed thematically & gave great service. Food was plentiful and delicious. Husband had the french dip with onion rings & a chocolate shake. I...More

Stopped in here for supper one night. Great food, energetic and friendly staff, reasonable prices, large variety, nicely decorated and really feels like the era.

Great burger and shakes, a fun 50s/60s diner atmosphere, and above average service. That tells you what you need to know. My family and I are from CA. We enjoy the retro diners and this has probably been our favorite one yet. Eill definitely return...More

Breakfast is always incredible here, and authentic American Diner Style. Service from 'Archie' was excellent, the kids enjoyed the new and entertaining WikkiStix that have replaced the coloring paper, and my Big Bopper was superb, especially the very authentic hash browns.

We stopped for breakfast today and maybe it is my age (but I am a product of the 50s and 60s) but it was a bit overwhelming today and the food a bit under whelming. The staff was attentive but way to active and loud....More

This diner has quickly become a favorite with my whole family. We have never had a bad experience here and the service is always great. Our favorite meals are the burgers, but I recently had a really tasty pot roast meal. My older child loves...More

Walking into this diner is like walking through a time warp into the 1950s. The jukeboxes, décor and even the cartoons playing on the TV make for a unique dining experience. They serve you right away and the food is absolutely great. Always enjoyed getting...More

I would pass going to this location. It's rundown. Not clean AT ALL. The floors are so dirty that my flip flops stuck down when I tried to lift my foot. The little juke boxes on the tables are FILTHY and there were flies in...More

Almost 30 years ago, a couple believed that they could generate the "diner" philosophy in Colorado. These energetic folks knew that a diner had to give the guest four things ; quality food, quality service, a welcoming and fun atmosphere and a clean environment. Thus the "diner philosophy" was put to the test.
Back in the summer of 1986, the doors were opened to the first Gunther Toody's in Colorado Springs, CO. A small 100 seat diner came alive and brought with it the sights, sounds and feel of the 1950's and 60's. From the moment the doors opened, Gunther Toody's became an American classic. Gunther Toody's ventured into Denver. It was not long before there was a huge following for our fresh home cooked food and sassy energetic service, all presented in a fun 50's atmosphere. With 5 locations in Denver or Colorado Springs, Gunther Toody's has become the torch bearer for "diners".
