Excellent friendly family run venue. Good, fresh sushi and bento box options. Have a pot of green tea.

This is a neighborhood treasure. It's in a strip mall and doesn't look like much, but the service is so warm and friendly and the sushi is fresh. I also like the non-sushi items like the beef teriyaki and the udon. Lunch is the better deal, as sushi is pricey, but well worth the expense at dinner.
Fresh fish, good portions, great waitstaff and friendly chef's! I am someone who is particular about sushi and have lived in NYC and LA and also in Tokyo and love great sushi. It has been hard to find a place I like. This place is consistent and good quality. One thing I always look for is the freshness of the... More
This place is walking distance from my house and my partner and I go regularly. It serves the best sushi I've had in Colorado, and the quality and flavor is far more consistent than places I've tried in Denver or Boulder. It is family owned and the owner and sushi chefs make an extra effort to greet the customers and... More
Our friends wanted to take us out to dinner, after staying with you for a few nights. We suggested Sakura and it was perfect! We ordered appetizers and 5 different sushi rolls.. had plenty to eat and we all agreed the sushi was excellent, flavorful, fresh, and spicy, plus a lovely presentation. The atmosphere was quiet and intimate, the service was... A friend and I stopped into Sakura for dinner this evening and had a good time. The sushi was good, though I have had much better. Still, though, it was fresh. Our server was trying too hard to be funny and it didn't come off well, but it wasn't a big deal. I would come back.
First off, this is a five star review, because this is one of my favorite restaurants in town. That said, I've noticed the service decline pretty noticeably in the last year as they've hired a couple new servers. One of the new waitresses is particularly unfriendly, and always puts a damper on an otherwise great experience. A plus is that... More
This place has the best service. It's close to our home and the people always remember us. The sushi is creative and taste great. It's pricey for Longmont standards but sushi is always pricey. We recommend the sashimi salad if you like a kick! I don't remember the names of the rolls but they were great.
Sushi is inventive and super-fresh, and they have many (very tasty) options for those who prefer not to go the sushi route, which I appreciate. Lunch is an absolute steal--the bento box lunches offer a little of everything and the owner, Kho, is such a gracious host. He remembers everyone and treats you like family. Dinners can be on the...
