What a great place to eat for family and friends. I was irritated by having to wait 10 minutes to even get a table, but the place was packed and people kept piling in. It was definitely worth the wait and I will be returning anytime I'm in the area.

This is a great home cooking breakfast diner. The biscuits are to-die-for, large enough for sharing but too good too actually share.

Burgers are excellent, come after 1pm and get a discount! NOTE: only serve breakfast and lunch. Serving staff are very friendly and accommodating, food is tasty with good-sized portions and served hot! Really tasty sweet tea too!

Very nice place to go eat with the locals. We used to dime here decades ago when it was The Country Kitchen. Montrose was a small town back then and this place was the go to place for late night dining. Montrose is three times bigger and this restaurant has long since changed ownership but the faces seem like same... More

It took about 25 - 30 mins for our food to arrive. I ordered the Philly Steak with au jus with everything on it. Very bland, it was presented on low quality bread, the au jus didn't have very much flavor. Came with soup of the day, the server didn't know what it was. Soup was good but I wish... More

This is possibly the best breakfast place I have ever eaten at! Everything was perfect! You don't find that often! Definitely worth the stop!

We'd opted for the $5.00 breakfast specials and when they came I was on the phone to friends who came by after we had left. We all enjoyed the Breakfast Special loaded Gravy, ham, egg, cheese, huge biscuits! Great value but adds up fast. Large OJ is $4 so watch the prices. Good food Great service. Keeps us going back.

Large portions of food; the big cinnamon roll was very good. Other patrons & wait staff were loudly discussing politics in a disdainful manner. We couldn't wait to get out of there.

Food is fair, not great, but they don't cheat you there. Service is sloooow, and they are often busy, which makes it worse.
