We stopped here because my daughter is a curry fan. She says it is delicious. I had the pad thai with chicken and it also was delicious. This place is right in the center of town and seems to have plenty of seating. Prices are very reasonable. Serving are big. Try the Thai iced tea... Full of flavors that keep... More

Came into Ubon Thai on a whim. The restaurant has a basic atmosphere with a kind of diner atmosphere. The food prices were very reasonable...my wife and I ate for about $10 each with drinks. We ordered the lemon grass chicken soup (Tom Ka Gai) and Green curry chicken. The taste of both was excellent and very creamy curry. We... More

The hostess was rude. That should be my first clue to leave. I waited forever for a high chair for my 1 year old even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Tired of waiting, I went to get it myself. Secondly, the restaurant is not even owned by a Thai. Nepalese owned that restaurant. That should be my second clue. We... More

During Frozen Dead Guy Days, we found seats at Ubon Thai Cuisine. This restaurant has been many different places over the years, but it looks like the current place will be around for awhile. Which is good news. I ordered a bowl "hot" but not "Thai Hot". That was a wise decision. The food was well prepared, efficient service and... More

Eldora Mountain skiing report folks recommended this restaurant to us. At first we were like No way...Great Thai in Nederland... All our meals were great. I had the Basile Fried Rice with Duck and it was delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!!

This is one of the better restaurants in Nederland where food quality is very good. Inexpensive but tasty food with an inexpensive beverage makes this a favorite of locats. Big takeout crowd. Don't just the book by its cover -- give it a try.

This was the worst Pad Thai dish I've ever had. Bland, too much fish sauce, hardly any chicken, no green onions or peanuts.

My lady and I in Nederland for a few days. We both love Thai food and liked this place so much we went back twice in our five night stay in town. Both times the food was excellent. The Pixpow peanut stir fry was excellent as was the Ginger stir-fry. The Tom Kha was outstanding. The Country curry was even... More

The pad thai had way too much fish sauce. The color of the sauce wasn't even recognizable as pad thai. Also, the service was one of the worst I ever experienced. We had to go to the front to order and to pay because no one was tending to our table.
