I definitely recommend this place as a desert spot with some good coffee. We stopped here after lunch and even though this wasn't on my diet.... it's a must.

We stop here every time we go through ouray. Their chocolates are great! Try the marzipan mouse! And a hot latte on the drive over the mountains is always a good idea.

We stopped in using a recommendation from a local. I am glad we did. We grabbed a couple of coffees for the road and we're happy caffeinated campers. Hot and flavorful it made our morning.

Don't skip the hot salted caramel cider with whipped cream on top. It was the surprise hit of all the drinks we ordered. Tart and sweet, with just the right creaminess on top. Selections from the candy case were also outstanding, except that the dark peanut cluster had a little too much chocolate in proportion to the peanuts (what a... More

We travel to Ouray each year just for these decadent handmade Chocolates! It is worth the drive. The Chocolatier's are generational and really know their stuff! Love the cookies, chocolates, hot drinks & ice creams! A MUST if you are in the area.

We were in Ouray for 3 full days and visited Mouses Chocolates and Coffee 5 times! On our first day in Ouray we hiked on the Perimeter Trail and stopped at Mouses afterwards to reward ourselves with coffee and delicious scrap cookies. I had read about the cookies on the TA forum and wanted to try them. The shortbread cookies... More

Established in 2001.

We are a small family of chocolatiers and coffee roasters living in a small town nestled in the San Juan Mountains in the southwest corner of Colorado.

We use only the finest Belgian chocolate and make everything by hand. Our shop is open everyday except Christmas.

Stop by if you are in the neighborhood. We'd love to hear stories about how our chocolate has been a part of your lives. It brings us together in our love for chocolate, fine ingredients and sharing them with our family and friends.
