Special evening with my husband, 27 years in Pagosa for Valentines Day. Alley House had phenomenal food. I had the shrimp tempura and scallops over risotto. It was succulent and flavorful. We made reservations by the beautiful stone fireplace. My husband had the lobster pasta. It was like we were eating at a cafe on the ocean. So good!

This restaurant had excellent food and the staff was friendly and attentive. Service was good. This is one of the finer restaurants in Pagosa Springs but it is a bit pricey. Otherwise, it was a lovely place for dinner.

The menu was pricey and worth every penny. We came in without a reservation and were seated immediately without hesitation. The manager stopped by and was so polite. Best food I have ever had. Our server Abbie was very sweet and accommodating. A must eat at restaurant.

My husband and I frequent the Alley House for special occasions only, since it is so pricey, but it is so worth it! We love their salads, pizza, and steaks. The steak I had last night was cooked to perfection with the most delicious twice baked potato I've ever had. And if you like bread pudding, theirs is the BEST!... More

From the City? Accustomed to excellent food and attentive service in a fine dining establishment? Typically, you can only get those two with the accompanying blazer. If you are willing to forego the dress code, you can get the other two only here. It's not Maximes in Paris, Maximes requires a tie. However, this is the best restaurant in Pagosa... More

We've eaten here twice before in the summer and loved it. We were both disappointed in our meals. Not sure who was salting the food but it was way over seasoned. I couldn't taste the lamb due to the salt, wife's lobster linguini was just as salty. We'll try it again and ask for the kitchen to not over season... More

Dear Mrg0157, I'm sorry your food was over seasoned. That is not the norm at the Alley House. Our food is seasoned and prepared fresh one plate at a time, by our chefs. It's clearly a mistake. I will discuss this issue with them and appreciate your review. Sincerely, Kellie Stevens More

We had a wonderful meal last night. The Fillet was excellent, the Chicken & waffle and pizza were also very good. We called to see if we needed reservations and were told no problem as long as we were there by 7:30. We hurried out the door and got there before 7:30. Not sure why we had to hurry as... More

Me and my wife ate there for our anniversary. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. The food was excellent. I had the surf and turf and my wife had the lobster pasta. Creme brûlée was for dessert and it was excellent. Price is on the high end, so be prepared to pay a good amount for the delicious food and... More
