The pizza here was so good! Our toddlers loved their pasta and got an ice cream dessert with their meal. Good service too. A nice night out in Steamboat!

I used to eat at Mambo every time I was in Steamboat. However, after the chef bought the restaurant, it is so disappointing. The menu has been completely changed, and all the most popular dishes have disappeared. The last time I was there, I actually asked the waitress why Mambo's most delicious pasta, the Ravenna, was not on the menu... More

Second time here, and gotta say anytime we come through we will stop. Pizza amazing, salad big enough for two. Everything tastes so good. Service great and friendly, even in the slow time of season for them. Haven't tried any other dishes because we have a favorite on the pizza!

First visit in a long while and everything was even better than I remembered. Crisp calamari, tender eggplant parmesan, flavorful cioppino, succulent short rib, and the decadent ganache ala'angelina all made for a great meal. The extensive and fairly priced wine list was a bonus. The staff were friendly and attentive. The open kitchen adds ambiance and entertainment without being... More

Have not been treated so rudely or received such miserable and insulting service in a LONG time! My friends had frequented Mambos on numerous visits to Steamboat and insisted we make it a priority on our restaurant list. From the moment we entered the manager argued that we didn't have a reservation. When she found that we indeed DID have... More

And the nose Knows! This place was phenomenal... from appetizer to dessert, this place did not disappoint. We had a black kale and Brussel salad, which was $13. Pricey, but delicious. My friend has a butrans and caponata with toasted baguette that was sooo good. Dinner was just as fabulous. Short ribs with ricotta gnocchi, and shrimp and lobster gnocchi... More

Need to make reservations during the ski season or you are out of luck. Overall had a very nice meal - good though not great food. Made some pretty typical menu choices: Appetized with calamari, main courses of rigatoni with sausage, spaghetti/meatballs, chicken parmagiana, and spaghetti bolognese. Finished up with apple cake. Service good. Food good. I wouldn't travel miles... More

I came here after a day of skiing and the generous food portions hit the spot and filled me up. Additionally it is high quality Italian food, crafted with care. We came on a Saturday night and the wait for the table was 40 minutes. However, the full menu is available at the bar so we were able to be... More

Tried to walk in 1 night & the wait was 90 minutes. So we came back when we had a reservation & it was well worth it. Our waitress was perfect. Very knowledgable about the wines & offered several choices that all were in our price point. Everyone loved their meals. If you like Italian then you'll be pleased with... More
