After a full day of hiking, three of us went to Tabernash for supper. It was comfy, fun, quiet enough to hear each other talk, and loud enough to be a bit of a scene. For some odd reason, we all ended up ordering the beet burger, which really hit the spot! A good amount of food, but not that... More

We came to town for a wedding and stayed nearby at an Airbnb. We arrived late in this small town and this was likely the only place open for dinner so we didn't expect much. We walked in and felt immediately under dressed, but not uncomfortable. We got the feeling they had a lot of that from out of town... More

I am confused. I gave them a very good rating, but I don't think I will be back. We decided to go as a group a few nights ago, and I was looking forward to this small funky place near Winter Park resort. Straight to the food, we ordered two appetizers, the brussel sprouts and some chile relleno ravioli, and... More

In town for a wedding. Made reservations (a must) at the Tabernash Tavern for dinner and were not disappointed. We were a party of five. Two of us ordered the Paella and we both thought it was absolutely wonderful. The dish presented beautifully with shrimp, fish, chicken, mussels along with a few bit sized slices of chorizo served over a... More

Unexpected and incredible menu! We ate dinner two nights in a row! Interesting seasonally changing menu with delicious and unexpected flavor combinations! I ate the jambalaya salmon and it was one of the most delicious meals I have ever eaten. We tried wings, antelope burger, and a full selection of beer and spirits. Not just a nice place in Tabernash... More

We went here for our anniversary dinner but were still astounded at the prices. The portions are enormous, everyone seems to go home with a box. They have nice takes on the dishes like crispy onions on the soup, or fig glaze on the chicken. There were some down sides like too much food! The bread, while special appeared to... More

This "used" to be our favorite place...not anymore, as the service and food are not up to its past 4.5 star rating I would've given it a year ago. Overpriced, smallish servings and to send back a piece of overdone, supposed to be MR steak to have a rare steak replace it after our friends have already finished their dinner... More

We got here on the earlier side and were able to enjoy their lower priced happy hour menu, feasting on some great, interesting smaller dishes - buffalo brussel sprouts, duck mac & cheese, my wife enjoyed the mussels. The regular menu prices are intimidatingly high, but we were indeed happy with happy hour!

Who would have thought one could find an exceptional restaurant in a tiny hamlet nestled in the Rockies but Tabernash Tavern makes the grade. We were staying at the nearby Devil's Thumb Ranch and were to dine at the resort but circumstances forced us to seek an alternative and Tabernash Tavern was our choice. Very eclectic menu in a tavern... More

Happy hours start at 4 .Try the Margarita Mussels..the lobster Mac and cheese, the spicy wings, and the calamari with cashews was spicy but yummy! Casual friendly atmosphere, great dinner menu. The inside does not reflect the outside so stop in and be pleased with the size and the best food.
