We came up for the live music, drinks and appetizers. The duo was just OK, service was incredibly slow and the menu was sparse and disappointing. How can you make tasteless hummus?!

Recently moved to Vail, I see their ads constantly, and they do a nice job of creating an ad that makes you want to dine amongst the mountain views. Very disappointing. The views aren't as good as you would expect, in fact the outside grill just next to the Bistro is better set up. The only upside to Bistro is... More

Employees were rude at restaurant inside and the BBQ tent outside. There were many empty tables inside but the hostess made us wait several minutes before talking to us and finally said wait is 40 minutes, and go to the outside tent if we want quicker service. There was a long line to the outside tent and we ended up... More

Food was great. I will say.. We have had excellent service all over the area. Breckenridge, Boulder, Black Hawk, Frisco, Lower Vail. But this was awful. Our server was nearly invisible. Took her 10+ minutes to come back for our food order after drinks. 30 minutes after my first drink and 15 after our food arrived. Worst service I've had... More

The only real sit down, table service option on the lionshead side of the mountain (other than game creek). Unfortunately, the food is something you would get served in a high school cafeteria. If you're on the vail side, you get the 10th, which has great food and an atmosphere consistent with the rest of the village, but on the... More

Kids loved taking the gondola up but everything else was ho-hum. Service was fine but food was lacking in imagination, quality and taste. Chicken pot pie better than average. Eggplant parm dry and bland. Kids grilled cheese only came as 1/2 a sandwich. Kids liked the carrots/grapes that came prior to meal and free ice cream dessert after.

Located at the top of Eagle Bahn Gondola at Vail, Bistro 14 serves up delicious fare for hungry skiers & snowboarders. My son & I met my wife there midday after a few hours on the mountain. He had the burger, I had the buffalo chili w/ steak salad, and my wife had the corn dip. The dip was slightly... More

Good variety in the menu and a most enjoyable atmosphere! Live music was a nice touch to boot! All the staff made certain we had a great experience! This is a great place to have dinner and then go tubing at night - the best time for no crowds!

We went there on a Tuesday for the BOGO entree special. The posole soup was good, but the hamburger tasted like it had been frozen and the chicken pot pie was unbelievable bad. It tasted like a canned chicken soup with a pastry shell top. The waiter was friendly and a cook even came out to visit with us. I... More

It is a more relaxed atmosphere than the cafeteria but the food is on the same level.Service is friendly but slow, not a plus for who want to go back skiing. To be avoided
