We had a wonderful food experience, the service was great until the end of our evening....when the restaurant manager was very rude and asked us to leave because they needed to turn the table for another group. We had a wonderful evening although a very abrupt ending after a very sizeable bill.

An old friend and I had dinner here upon a recommendation from a local. The atmosphere and the service were top notch. I'm a fan of steaks cooked Pittsburgh Rare(black and blue, 'extra char/extra rare'), and it is surprisingly difficult to find. This place did an amazing job of cooking a great steak. I would love to get back there... More

My son and daughter in law sent me here with my husband for my birthday. From valet parking, the bar upstairs to service at this restaurant was top notch. Everyone addressed us by name, they split our lobster bisque that we shared (outstanding by the way!), allowed my husband to taste his wine before choosing, and made great side recommendations... This is a really good steak house in Vail. Get a reservation, they fill up! The bone-in ribeye was great and chicken as well. The comp sauces (6) at the table are tasty and worth trying each one. Brussel sprouts very yummy. Service was top notch. Must try!

For a supposed 4 or 5 star pricey restaurant the food was good not great. The service was poor and inattentive on a slow night. Save you're money.

We visited on a Thursday night without a reservation. We were not guests of the hotel. Often we stay in Four Seasons hotels so know what to expect from them, restaurants included. This fell a little short. Upon approaching hostess stand, we mentioned we were walk-ins. We were quoted 30 minute wait (and there is no bar at this restaurant... More

The Flame grill is a steak house located in the Four Seasons hotel in Vail. This raises one's expectations but the Flame meets every one of them. The staff is informative, professional and efficient but still friendly and relaxed. The restaurant is a bit dark but looks ver y nice and stylish. We loved the cow portraits on the wall.... More

We have been coming to Vail at least once a year for the last 15 years. We hadn't been to Flame recently so decided to go on our recent trip. I had made a 6:15 reservation for myself, my husband, and 2 kids. We got there a few minutes early - 6:08 to be exact and when I gave the... More

Overall this was an OK experience. We had high expectations going into...it was a steak house at a Four Seasons! So you can't go wrong, right?!? The service was superb. Our waiter made sure to take care of us. The food was ok. We had the filet and the bison. Both were comparable to something we could get at home... More

Description
Make dining fun again. Four Seasons Resort Vail has reinvented Flame Restaurant with inventive twists on classic steakhouse favorites. Start off by tempting your palate with elk corndogs and a duo of dipping sauces, indulgent sides, such as truffled comte fritters with wild mushroom and bacon ragout, or satisfy your sweet tooth with maple bacon doughnuts with cherry bourbon compote. Of course, our menu still offers a variety of prime steak selections, like the 32-ounce dry-aged Waygu Ribeye, which is cooked to perfection under our 1,800 degree custom broiler, paired with house-made sauces and carved tableside.
