For 50 years this place has been in Vail. Our first visit was on our honeymoon in 1986. We have been enjoying it ever Since. True old world feel. Prime rib and seafood never disappoint. Great bar and drinks. Staff is always fantastic. Right in...the heart of Vail. You will love it.More
Excellent prime rib, friendly, cordial service. Nice seafood selections for those not interested in beef. Be sure to enjoy one of the delicious deserts.
This restaurant is a must do in you in Vail Colorado. You can never go wrong with their prime rib. Great food overall and excellent customer service.
Was popular so make sure you book ahead. Saw the reason why service was excellent and friendly. Good work at accommodating the C19 restrictions felt clean and safe. Good ambience and good drinks selection at reasonable prices. Not a huge menu but enough choice. So...their name is for rib of beef so we had to try it. Very good and tasty not the best we have ever had but anyone from Texas is always disappointed by beef anywhere else. The appetizers were particularly good. On the high side but it’s Vail. We would recommend it for a visit. Lovely evening.More
Their specialty is prime rib which we both got and it is very good. A baked potato comes with it and it was a little cold. They say it comes loaded with everything but it does not! You get a little container of sour cream...that might have a few chives; no bacon; no cheese, and we had to ask for butter. That, to us, is not considered a loaded potato. I started with tomato basil soup and it was delicious. We sat on the patio overlooking the creek which very nice.More
been here before in 1990! food still good, prime rib recommended but, being English, the best thing was an overheard conversation at the next table, " what do you recommend for Vegans? " Move to California, ma'am"
Lancelot has been around in Vail for quite a long time. In fact they have the original menu framed in the lobby when you walk in. Not much has changed it seems other than the prices, which I thought were still reasonable. Everyone in our...party was going for one reason and one reason only, the Prime Rib, which was done to perfection as expected. They have other things on the menu as well, but if you are a fan of Prime Rib then this is the place. Also the salads were very good. Service was great, we will be back again.More
We only had one day in Vail and didn’t plan ahead for dinner. As we walked around the village, we checked out the menus and we came upon Lancelot. Luckily we got a reservation for a table inside, which was great because it was raining...intermittently. The village was very busy, but we were seated safely with distance between the tables. Our server, Gigi, was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. My husband and I had the prime rib, which they are noted for. Everyone else enjoyed their selections. The cosmopolitan was just as I ordered. We shared a dessert and then we were off- a 5 minute walk to the Tivoli Lodge. It was a little pricey but definitely worth it.More
We were there on a wedding anniversary trip, & had eaten there last year. Jen our waitress was so friendly, but in a professional way. We started with the artichoke dip - best we've ever had! The dressing on the Caesar salad is a bit...on the sweet side, but ok. Our orders of prime rib were cooked just as requested, and very good, as were the baked potatoes. A warm brownie with vanilla ice cream was delish & plenty to split. We felt really comfortable with the distancing & precautions Lancelot too. Definitely will return!More
