We came in for brunch with about 7 people and had the worst experience ever. The benedicts were horrible. The eggs were hard as a rock and the hollandaise tasted like pure salt and tobbasco sauce. We were there a couple of months ago and loved it then. Also the service was so bad that we had to go to... More
We walked in and saw on the chalk board advertising specials, that it was happy hour all day Sunday!! But when we ordered we were told there's another special going on so that one is not happening. That is not okay!! The management should have given us that if advertised. First let me say my husband was happy enough with... More
I've been here several times, for both dinner and lunch and have also ordered for take out meals. The food is tasty, presented very well, with wonderful authentic flavors. The dining room is very nice, also plenty of room for a table of 2 or 4, as well as room to accommodate a large party. The largest group I've taken... More
The desk clerk at our hotel recommended Abrusci's and we were so happy with our meal. My husband and I both had the rigatoni and it was delicious. Our service was prompt and our server was very friendly and helpful.
It is sad enough when one is disappointed in the food and service at a restaurant, but when the restaurant charges a mandatory 20% service fee for awful service, one does not return. Our experience in January 2017: -The service was awful....We waited 5 minutes to be greeted by anyone (absentee hostess who was in the bar hanging out ;... More
We are always on the lookout for good Italian food! We tried a variety of dishes and all were satisfyingly delicious. The Steves special is a favorite as it has just enough spice. The restaurant is on the intimate side in size but they have a banquet facility that handles large parties. They have a wonderful knowledgeable staff too to... More
Service was terrible waited forever for service, chicken parmigiana was cremated, wine poor on second glass was half of the first, the wedge salad was a hunk of lettuce with not enough dressing to eat it, changed .75 for ranch dressing. Then added 20% tip to the bill. Never again
I've given Abrucis many chances over the years to improve their customer service, but my take out orders are never ready. After waiting 25 min. for my last order to be filled, I was offered free salad and bread. Really? That cost them $5 while my 12 guests waited at my house. I'm done.
I went to Abrusci's based on their Trip Advisor's reviews and a look on their website. They advertised a free draft beer with lunch on Fridays. As it was Friday I asked for the free draft when I ordered. The server said they were no longer doing that even though it was on their website. He did not offer to... More

With reference to our visit to Abrusci's on 8/7/15 with a review posted on 8/15/15 I would like to know if other customers have had a similar experience to ours and if so have Abrusci's ever responded to the complaints and "made things right" with their customers? It would also be interesting to receive comments from staff members about the poor food and especially about the newly introduced "mandatory tipping" that has been forced onto customers. Sincerely Paul B.
