Tea Roses is an adorable tea room that was the perfect spot for us to celebrate our birthdays! The food and service were superb! They also offered delicious varieties of organic teas. I highly recommend.

What a beautiful place for our Sisters Tea. The atmosphere was elegant with fine china tea cups and pots, damask covered tables and piano music playing softly in the background. A wonderful selection of individually prepared pots of tea. We had the afternoon tea. The sandwiches, scones and sweets were divine and beautifully presented and served. Peg and Lindsay were... I have to say the food here did not disappoint. The sandwiches were good and the scones scrumptious. But the downside was the service. Six of us moms went here to have tea together and celebrate the upcoming birth of my second child. A small, festive shower of sorts. The owner was not very welcoming. One of the moms brought... First let me say congratulations on the birth of your second child, thank you for wanting to celebrate at Tea Roses. We are also pleased you enjoyed our delicious food! We are sorry that your visit wasn't up to your full standards. We are a very small venue with only 5 tables in our back tearoom with our largest table... More

I briefly stopped in to try the delightful Tea Roses Tea Room after reading about the tea room on TripAdvisor. I am glad that I stopped by. I ordered a decaf strawberry green tea which was absolutely delicious and a scone that came with lemon curd, double cream and strawberry preserves. What an amazing scone! I'll be day dreaming of... I've had afternoon tea in many places, and Tea Roses serves the best! Peggi makes everyone feel welcome. The food is delicious with some staples (cucumber round) and some variety (pesto chicken salad, banana bread with soft sweet butter). Her tea selection is the broadest I've ever seen. My favorite is Cinnamon Chocolate Brownie. I go there about 8-10 times... More

The tea room is a hidden shop on Main Street that is easy to miss, but worth seeking out. They have every tea flavor and tea accessory imaginable, and also serve wonderful baked goods. It's a great place to visit.

This is a gem of a place off the beaten path. Excellent afternoon tea with both savory and sweet items. Also beautifully decorated with tea and related items to purchase.

We stopped last week. I was looking for a midway point on our travels back to Mass. Peggy was so gracious we were the last reservation of the day. At no time we were rushed the food was perfect and the tea hit the spot. Such a quaint spot. We live over 2 hrs away and I would go back... More

We've been to several tea shops for afternoon tea, many have since closed. But Tea Rose's is hands down the best tea shop in CT. Peggi is warm and gracious, and serves the best scones, finger sandwiches, and desserts around. Her tea selection is the largest I have ever seen. Mom and I go here for her birthday, my birthday,...
