Who is this guy...I went to celebrate my friend's birthday...We had reservations, the host was quite rude and practically threw our menus at us. We have never been treated like this by the female hostess. They are usually sweet and accommodating. This man should not be at the front, very off putting. The food was good and the waiter was... Love going here, whether it's for dinner or just appys and cocktails. The staff is always attentive, the hosts Tommy & Karen always welcoming and the food excellent. I always get the calamari, my absolute favorite. So glad Danbury now has a place like this.

If you want a NON- Chain comfortable lunch or dinner with excellent dishes, this is it. This is the type of gathering place for one or twenty one people, that you WANT in your neighborhood. Dark woods and cozy seats. Hundreds of bottles of wine on display. Pleasant wait staff (even though they interrupted conversation a few times) and the... More

So my mother and I have been on a brunch kick and someone had mentioned that Black Angus had a great brunch. The brunch actually did turn out to be great. The mimosas were good but the bloody Mary's could definitely use a little more flavor. My favorite part of the experience was the bread pudding for dessert! I'm not... More

We stayed nearby and wanted dinner. I called for a reservation and quickly got one. We arrived, were seated, and served by "E". Even though it was a busy Friday eve, he was friendly and effecient. We enjoyed the food and the service. It is definitely worth a try!

Only thing better than the food is the service. Wait, the only thing better than the service Is the food. Barbarie's Black Angus does them both so well it is on the par, if not better than some NYC steakhouses. Tom greets all guests at door and really works the house so well. On our last visit knowing it was... More

Feels like being out with a group of great friends. Food and Drink Superb! The bar makes for a great Sports Bar with excellent tenders and the restaurant a fine steak bistro.

My son and DIL took me to this restaurant for my birthday/Mother's Day celebration on the Saturday before Mother's Day. As I expected, it was very crowded and we were told there was a two hour wait. The staff offered us the outdoor seating which is enclosed and the day was very cold and it was raining so we opted... More

First visit and I was blown away. The service was super attentive but not overbearing. Nice drink and wine selection. A crab stuffed halibut was the special and everyone at our table ordered it. Some of the best halibut I've ever had. Desserts were to die for; excellent selection and they were all delicious. Best creme brulee I've ever tasted;... More

I guess my expectations were too high and the special that looked too good to be true was too good to be true. There was a lunch special for $22 for dry aged NY strip. I ordered it medium rare and cut off a piece that was well beyond well done. It was awful. I sent it back. They cut... More
