Allow me to explain. This Outback is attached to a La Quinta hotel right off the interstate in Danbury. We overnight there on our trips to Maine because: 1. It is a very nice hotel at a good price, 2. the hotel allows pets for free, 3. the rooms all have kitchenettes, and 4. Outback provides great meals, which you... More
Surprisingly The margaritas here were really delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly & totally enjoyed their salad. Service was a bit on the slow side, waited almost 10 minutes for a waiter and then he apologized for having us wait. Then when our appetizer came out we had no silverware and had to wait another 5 minutes for that. Other than... More
The service was slow even though we were there at an off-peak time. Salad had brown/wilted pieces of lettuce and steak had too much grizzle.

Server seems disinterested and food was average at best. My wife enjoyed her crab cakes; however, some of the lettuce in my crunchy chicken salad was rusty sand limp. I brought the salad to the attention of the server who simply replied, "Oh, sorry about that." As a result, I asked for the manager and brought it to her attention.... More
