Got chicken ranch wrap, mozzarella sticks and they were fantastic. Nice clean restaurant with reasonable prices and good food

We are from upstate NY - were visiting Mystic CT, and wanted to find a place that was not geared towards tourists - wanted to find a place where locals would eat. So - we headed out of town! This is the first place we came across that looked appealing. We went in - wow! It is nice, the fellow... More

Whether we're ordering take-out or feel like a quick stop on the way home so we don't have to make dinner, we can always count on a tasty pizza from Gus's. Had a mushroom pizza the other night, but have also ordered multiple vege toppings, pepperoni, etc. etc. Nice people, and if you're ordering take-out, there's even a little bar... More

Was looking to get a pizza, and this place was recommended by the hotel I was staying at. A hole in the wall place, but the pizza and subs are excellent! Highly recommend.

Lost my business forever. We love their pizza but the people who work there are insanely rude. Refused to take our order because we forgot our coupon yet they had a stack of coupons for customers on the counter. Overcharged us for a pizza and wouldn't refund money. Told us it is a 20 minute wait, came to pick up,... More

I do not need to say much. If you go there and see it for yourself you will figure out as soon as you walk in the door that is is dark, dirty and dingy. The food is subpar BUT the biggest telltale clue is the chips on the chip rack are for the most part... EXPIRED. Today I got... More

Over the last few years have stopped here as its convenient and my father liked it - not anymore. Perhaps new ownership? Not sure but definitely not the old Gus'.

We really Gus's Bourbon Wings, and the Italian Delight Pizza. Both are very delicious. Best of all they can be delivered to Maugle Sierra Vineyards and Winery on Friday night, when the winery has live music. Gus's is on time, appropriately priced and delicious.

Gus's pizza in Groton used to be our go to Pizza joint, USED TO. But ever since the ownership has changed, its gone downhill. Our most recent visit was the worst. Since there's a smoke shop next door, THAT'S WHAT YOU SMELL when you enter, so non-smokers like myself, BEWARE! Even the restroom reeked of cigarettes! YUCK! It should had... More

We were going canoeing on the mystic river and decided to stop for a quick lunch. Standard grinder/pizza joint.clean and comfortable but nothing stands out.painfully average.
