YUCK! Overpriced and long wait! Go somewhere else! The deviled eggs were just ok. The calamari left a lot to be desired. Velveeta shells and cheese is better than the macaroni and cheese that was served. What they call grits is disgusting and the shrimp...More

I was excited to try this restaurant to celebrate my birthday on 12-1-17. I was very very disappointed. I ordered fried green tomatoes, they were cut so thick, disappointed. We also had fried okra and pickles. More pickles than okra. I ordered jambalaya. It was...More

Nice beer selection. Music is good but not so loud that you can't have a conversation. Food looked good even though I did not have any. Easy walk to the Homewood suites next door.

The restaurant was very convenient to the Homewood Suites a few doors down. When I arrived the hostess tried putting me near the stage and on top of another person. I asked to be seated somewhere else and I am glad I did. The band...More

Fine choice for this solo business guy! Sat at the bar and Bryan took care of me. Served me a couple of tasty brews of his choice and great pulled pork sandwich. Fast service, friendly clientele, and pleasant vibe

The decor is great. Food and drinks are good and plentiful. Live music. That said, it can be loud in there, so don’t have high expectations for conversation. But no need for that when you can simply sit back and enjoy the music and ambiance.

I've never reviewed BES?? Been eating here 20 years, since it opened as a much smaller place. Have been here 20 or so times, including the Easter Brunch w/live blues (bought his CD) and I'm glad it's survived and thrived all this time. The southern/BBQ/soul...More

Really good Southern food here, they also have live music on some nights. Love their jambalaya, tastes really good and is a decent portion size. Their gumbo on the other hand needs improvement and tasted pretty bland with no flavors as such. But we also...More

Thanks for the kind words. Normally the Gumbo is very consistent (we serve 50-60 gallons of it a week! ) I apologize if it was a little bland that night. Can you send me your email and I'll email you a voucher for your next...More

I had ordered the cheesy grits and some ribs, (neither of which had nuts) but having celiac disease, I looked over the menu pretty carefully and don't remember any nuts being in the entrees. But I probably wouldn't say the... More
