We will miss the wonderful food that the Chef for Brasserie Pip offered . The new oak room has increased the bar size and hired a new staff. The food is quite good and priced fairly . Sometimes inconsistent and understaffed. Mostly we enjoy eating...More

Brasserie Pip closed in 2013 and the Copper Beech Inn has new owners. The restaurant is now called The Oak Room. See my recent review of the Inn. We had an excellent meal there. I'm sorry I missed the Brasserie Pip. I read that the...More

Connecticut has no shortage of great restaurants, and the restaurant at Copper Beech Inn is no exception. Luckily it seemed to be a well-kept secret (though we dined on a weeknight). In sum, the bartender knows how to make a good drink, the service was...More

This is one of those restaurants that serves food artistically but the portions are so small you starve and frankly they aren't that tasty...If it is small it should be spectacular--not so. And it is expensive...Won't go again

Headed over for dinner at the bar and it was delicious! The bread was fresh (as it always is). Laura, the bartender made me a fantastic ruby red grapefruit cosmopolitain - very refreshing. I has the duck confit with cherries and my companion had the...More
