We have it on good authority that the avocado toast is wonderful, and our coffee was good. The dining room is bright. Breakfast took its time coming. The frittata -- don't they usually have the appearance of an omelet?-- was a loose, moist unlovely mess....More

While on a road trip through the Northeast we stopped in New Haven for lunch and found Heirloom. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals and the service was good too. Couldn't have picked a better spot!

Very nice service. They were accommodating to a change in our reservation. Food was good. The room got a bit noisy as the night went on.

I got Lobster Macaroni and Cheese for lunch. It wasn't the best I've had, but it was decent. It was pretty expensive for lunch, $20. The waitstaff was nice, but a bit stand-offish. I would say this place is better for dinner than lunch. I...More

We were at Yale and needed to get some dinner which with so many options in that area can be a bit overwhelming. Upon entry we were greeted and seated promptly with some clear and professional enthusiasm. So the start was first class. We started...More

great farm to table restaurant with a great wine list. You can't go wrong with this restaurant, the restaurant has a great feel to it and the wait staff is attentive without being overbearing. One of the great places in New Haven!

Hosted my 30th birthday ladies brunch here. Clean and classy venue. Peaceful environment with great food and nice service. Fresh farm to table vibe. I was a little nervous about the location in New Haven and the parking was unclear - but we made it...More

A welcome change of excellent home baked breads with equally fine olive oil only sufficed to tickle our taste buds for the encore of oysters and fruits de mare. Seafood was spot on fresh and with the prerequisite taste of la mare brought us to...More

We were there for restaurant week, the 3-course prix fix. You'd think with three entrees the service would be prompt. We waited 30 minutes for the main course. I ordered pork belly, something I adore but cannot cook properly. Neither can Heirloom. Everything else was...More

The desserts change periodically, but there are one or two constants: warm cookies is one, my personal favorite. Three nice sized carm cookies chased with a glass of ice cold milk. Can't get much better than that. The... More
