It's on the water, but also close to I-95, so some waterside tables are bestttsr than others. Many indoor tables as well. Not a fancy restaurant, and they don't take reservations, so there can be a bit of a wait sometimes, but the service is friendly and prompt, the raw oysters are very good and very reasonably priced (shame on... Excellent experience all around! Great, friendly waiter, great food! We had the clam chowder, delish! I had the fried Oyster dinner with fries..Perfection! Excellent tartar sauce and Cole slaw. All 4 of us had a great dinner .. can't wait to go back and sit outside in warmer weather! Nicely decorated.

Nice views from New Haven's Long Wharf, with HUGE variety of fish dishes and HUGE portions. Popular specialties include fried clams (with their proprietary batter -- and choice of strips or bellies; most restaurants only serve strips and don't know the succulent difference), super fish and chips, and a variety of casseroles (scallops, lobster, etc.), and a wide array of... Think Denny's with decent seafood. Lot's of fried things, all tasty. Spacious and relaxed with nice water views. Great for kids. If you want fried clams or an acceptable lobster roll, this is a good bet.

We were looking for something fast when we arrived late evening. Our hotel recommended this place and it was fun! Great for kids, although don't expect any vegetables with the kids meals. Nice view over the water.

My wife grew up going to Lenny and Joe's in Westbrook, so we decided to hop off 95 and try the New Haven version on a cold, rainy Saturday. Located on Long Wharf, this is much more of a sit down restaurant than the legendary shoreline joint. Since the place was far from crowded, we got a table with a... More

disappointed with the menu as a lot of fried food. And although they had other choices the fish meals were not that tasty or kind of skimpy.

We were travelling through the area and saw the high recommendation for the restaurant on TripAdvisor so we stopped. It was very easy to get to from I-95. It's located on the harbor and has a large parking lot and outdoor seating (too cold for us though). The restaurant is unique and fun. Seating allows for views of the water... More

We wanted to eat with a view. It was winter trip coming home from Mystic Seaport. We try to break up our trips so they become two short trips rather than one long one. Well we sat by the windows looking out over the water but too far to the land side to have a good view. Try to make... More

I'm from this area, living in NJ, and I head to the shore for fried seafood when i'm here. The whole clams were good. Fries not great. Cole slaw had a weird taste. Portion size is what I expect in NJ, which is to say not a good value. $76 for three people, no cocktails, very pricey for this meal.... More
