Visited early evening with my son. Order ice tea and margarita pizza. We ordered large size pie. It was absolutely delicious. It was just a little too big so we brought a few slices back to eat later in a box. Iced tea I would recommend too!! The whole lot can to $22 superb value. Better than in competition as... More

This is our favorite pizza place. Lorenzo the waiter is so friendly and the kids love it here. The pizza is always consistently awesome every time we come here.

This is pizza. It is the essential Platonic ideal of pizza. Margherita or white clam, with toppings or without, it is molten and crispy, bursting with charred pizza perfect flavor. This is the pizza you want to take to heaven. That's the good news. The bad news is the interminable wait, both before you are seated and after; the absolute... More

My hubby is a pizza enthusiast. He owns five pizza ovens and loves to make pizza for our friends. He's also a mega researcher of what's popular in the pizza world. When we are out and about we make sure to try the things he's read about. Thus, while in NY for a wedding we extended our trip to take... More

Must have been a bad day for Sally's. It opens at 3:00. We got there@3:15. Order taken around 3:30. Pizza arrives at table@ 4:15. It is under cooked. The crust is not cooked thru, it's doughy. At the same time the top is charred black and the bottom of the crust is covered in black ash. Very disappointed.

Came to Sally's for dinner and loved the pizza. The tomato pie was not as tasty as Pepe's tomato pie, but the mozzarella pie was by far better than the similar mozzarella pie at Pepe's. The crust at Sally's is also a bit thinner so it's a little more crisp. Both places use coal oven so you get similar texture.... More

I get it, Sally's pizza is great but after coming here for many years the attitudes some of the waiters give you is getting really old. I know they don't care, but eventually neither will the customers care about coming back.

As always pizza was excellent. The service was excellent can't wait to go back. If you're in New Haven you must stop in for their pizza.
