My husband and I stopped in here on a whim to grab lunch on our day off. We've ordered takeaway from here many times so we knew the pizza was incredible, but this was the first time we'd actually eaten on the premises. It felt like walking into the home of a close friend (who happens to be an amazing... More

Sometimes you take a chance when you are in a place you don't know and are hungry. Stopped in at the uppercrust. Wanted a salad and cold drink. It was really good and would stop again.

The owners took a Victorian home on the side of Litchfield Turnpike and envisioned a pizzeria. And boy did they ever. It makes perfect sense to me - in many ways it feels like you are home when that lovable uncle of yours decides to make you a memorable dinner. What he pulls together is not entirely simple because you... More

I was introduced to this restaurant by my boyfriend for an anniversary dinner. The food was outstanding...best baked ziti I ever had! Based on our experience, we decided to return with our 2 kids for pizza. It was amazing! Brick over...flavorful and reasonably priced. The service is outstanding. Your water glass will never go empty! Overall wonderful experiences here....will return... More

Maybe we just caught them at a wrong time but the food was awful. My wife had the eggplant perm, unremarkable. The pasta look homemade but was just bland. I had the Chicken Piccata. When the meal came out it was very small, lunch portion size. Not large as described by the waitress. Flavor was good but the chicken was... More

This place is terrific for pizza. But, over time prices have crept up and portions have gotten smaller. The large salad was not! I imagine the small salad would have been served on a dessert plate and, next month, on a slide! The salmon, a $10 extra, in my opinion, could not have weighed more than 3 ounces (including the... 'Have been eating here for years and the food and service are ALWAYS excellent. I dream about their roasted vegetable salad and the bacon/clam pie. I'm not much of a pizza eater because I find the majority to be too doughy and too cheesy. Here, the crusts are thin and the ingredient choices endless! You can have no cheese or... More

this is one of the most disgusting, awful restaurants i've ever been to. the house it's in is old, dank, and falling apart. the service was incompitant, and the whole atmosphere was creepy. the sausage was sour, fizzy, and rotten, and the pizza was absolutely disgusting. the kitchen didn't look or smell clean, either. glacial service and rotten food is... The food was excellent with a rustic farm house atmosphere. It was a chilly day and the fireplace was burning, which made the dinning experience most enjoyable.
