The blue colony is basically a supersized classic, old school diner with all the look and feel of what you expect from a diner. Tons of menu options including breakfast all day to pick from. It's what you expect from a diner and with pretty good service to boot.

This place has average diner food. It's pretty good, not great. The menu is enormous, and so are the portions. Oh, but the cheesecake - I guarantee it is the best you ever had! Another plus is the access: very easy off and on from I-84.

Quick lunch on our way to East Hartford. Large menu to choose from. Husband had Burgers and fries and enjoyed them. I had the Tuna salad and it was bland. Too much mayonnaise and not enough tuna. However, it was a clean restaurant with good service

Nice quick stop off the highway for lunch. Great selection on menu. Ordered reuben with pastrami and philly steak. Delivered within minutes and very tasty. Pleasant waitstaff.

Very easy to get to just off exit 10 on I84. Lunch was phenominal and we could not resist picking up some of the baked goods on the way out. The service was great despite being busy. Lots of cars in the parking lot had us concerned, but it is very big and there is plenty of seating so we... More

Hearty lentil soup on a cool fall day before enjoying perfectly prepared authentic Greek spinach pie. Take out order of Doulemades for later. Stop at bakery display to pick up freshly baked challah, coconut custard pie and Greek cookies to share with family in PA. My husband enjoyed his salmon sandwich on freshly baked Jewish rye.

This is the diner that we measure all other diners against. Simply the best service, best food, best value, best ambiance, best staff and in a great location.

For the first time, we finally took the exit towards this diner restaurant. It was easy to get in and out, it is also next to a gas station! The restaurant-Blue Colony, has surprisingly spacious dining rooms, large for a "diner". It offers very large variety menu! They serve typical "yankee"type, Italian, Greek food! The hamburger deluxe was very large,... More
