An adorable diner that is frozen in time, their seating is quite small and uncomfortable. However, it almost doesn't even matter because this is hands down the best breakfast food on this planet. I ordered the lobster benedict (amazing) and my husband had the corned...More

Carson’s is a vintage gem, having been open since 1907. A quick and lovely drive from Mystic, it’s worth it for the charm, both of the space and the staff. Even on a busy Saturday morning, breakfast was fast and delicious - the corn beef...More

Stopped for breakfast at this adorable spot. The menu was extensive and typical breakfast with some creative twists. I had an egg sandwich on whole grain ciabatta with spinach and Boursin. It was delish! My daughter had a nice gluten free option of eggs on...More

We stopped here for breakfast on a rainy October morning. The service was friendly, the food was excellent, the coffee was hot. It's a tiny spot, and almost everyone else in the place was a local. But everyone was welcoming; we felt at home. In...More

Like the nuclear submarines not far away in Groton, this place is tiny and unique drawing upon an existence that prided itself on ice cream, coffee and an ancient green Formica counter. But lo, and behold, a new initiative of breakfast beyond compare has come...More

We had the Lobster Provolone Spinach Scramble. It was delicious. The service was very attentive. They offered to toast my gluten free bread and split our meal. Cute general store/soda fountain decor.

Perfect every time. Hot coffee. Good conversation. Friendly, happy staff. We've almost had everything on the menu Lobster Omelette to French Toast. The best hash--homemade corned beef. Great ice cream too. New--fresh warm lobster roll--can't wait.

Original totally authentic 1950's soda fountain and American restaurant. We are what Jonny rockets tries to be. Original Formica counter top with swivel stools, full breakfast menu with store Made corned beef hash, eggs Benedict and more, cafe lunch menu with several sandwich options, and a separate dinner menu featuring local beef, from our own small herd of cows in north Stonington Connecticut, French fries as well as lobster and a few vegetarian option also available. Don't forget to try a malt, milkshake or float. Very family friendly.
