Not a fancy place, but very good food. My husband had an 8-oz burger (and that was the small one), I had one of the best reubens. We left there stuffed.

This restaurant is no frills. It makes no pretensions in presentation or ambience. But the food is good and the beer comes in bottles. No draft. The Monkey Farm, in my humble opinion, makes the best hot lobster roll in town. They come out piping...More

We stopped here on the way to a show at the Kate and had a great experience! It's a really cool little place with screened in outdoor seating. No bugs but a beautiful breeze. The inside is very funky and had a very large bar...More

The atmosphere was not good at all. Hot day and no air conditioning. We sat on the porch and it was very noisy and hot. The food was OK, prices were good. I would not go back, but that would be because of the atmosphere....More

Visited here recently, service was a little slow. The inside is really dark and they are cash only. Would probably get take out here again.

We try our best yet sometimes everyone arrives at once. Our porch has better lighting for those who don't care for the dark bar room feel that we have inside. Thank you for the nice review.

Visited the Monkey Farm because our friends said it had 1 of the 10 best lobster rolls in Connecticut. I think they must have been reading the list upside down. Four lobster rolls. All of them were very dry with no where near enough butter....More

Dear Earl, We are very sorry for the lack of communication during the shift change that caused the confusion on your soup and beverage order. Our kitchen begins all orders in the order they are taken and some items take more cooking time than others....More

Amazing nachos, possibly the best the kids and parents have EVER had! Everything was delicious and the service was top notch!
