Hands down the Rat is a great restaurant. My wife and I go for lunch or dinner weeknights or weekends the food is consistently good. Family restaurant as I take my grandkids there for lunch. Nice atmosphere. Just go, but when you do be sure to make reservations as they are always busy!

Stopped by this small local restaurant with my 80 year old mother after a doctors visit, she'd been craving a burger after eating institutional food for 7 weeks and they didnt disappoint. The place is easy to find and was full of locals in the mid afternoon on a Monday. We were seated right away and the staff was very... More

Great place. Hamburgers are delicious. Prices very reasonable and good variety of food on the menu and the waiter answered all of our questions and was very friendly Have eaten there several and each time was as good as the last. Cozy atmosphere and very homey

Good food, nice wait staff. Booths pretty close to the bar area which is not a problem unless the bar is busy it gets a little noisy. Go for lunch to be sure great burgers.

The Rat is my go to for dinner, whether with friends, clients, or on my own. I love how cozy the place is -- it's warm and inviting while not too small or too big. I always find the clientele to be friendly and welcoming, the staff to be attentive and polite, and the food to be delicious and presented... More

It's been a while now since I've been to the Ratherskeller, but it has always been an enjoyable experience the times I have eaten there. It's a bit hard to find from the road as it in the back of a small building complex. Good food, nice servers, and nice quaint atmosphere.

We went to dinner with some old friends and had a wonderful time. Frank, our waiter, was excellent.. Knowledgeable and attentive. The wine and Manhattan were great. Sharon had "Lou's Meatloaf" .. Very tasty. Two of us had the Asian Stir Fry.. Great blend of spices, shrimp and scallops. The Raspberry dinner was outstanding. Looking forward to our next visit.

The ambiance is loud - tv's on in multiple places. Appears to be a place where people meet after work and drink at the bar. Noisy for our table of 4 as we were in a booth with the bar immediately on the other side. Would not recommend if you want to have a conversation.

Went on recommendation from a local. My wife and I ordered salads---Asian salad for me had lettuce, mandarin oranges, and peanuts, otherwise had no Asian salad flavor whatsoever. Wished I had gone to the nearby Panera's---not a great Asian salad, but at least they typiocally have some flavor to their food. My wife had a salad with chicken and a... More

We go to Rathskeller often and have found the meals good. The portions are generous and so are the drinks. The chicken with risotto is worth going back for. The Reuben- so good and juicy. Steak sandwich, yes. Vegetarian quesadilla is delicious. Order the soup- onion or chili. Rarely is the service subpar. Try it, you'll like it.
