I have been here a few time. They are kinda on the higher side for prices but then before complaining about prices, try to knead the dough, crack the eggs and make the filling and all this before the rooster wakes up...ya, i dont think so :) Super friendly service and a nice place to go in and relax and... Do yourself a favor and stop by this neighborhood spot for a couple of hand pies. I highly recommend the shephards pie and the little piggy (braised pulled pork), The crust is to die for and the fillings are just right. The ratio of crust to filling is spot on. Just lovely. Eat one hot there and grab one to... More

I enjoy chicken pot pie and similar comfort food. I read about this place in Connecticut Magazine and was looking forward to a dellicious savory. I was disappointed by the pricey food and teeney portion. Didn't like the food and haven't been back since my initial visit. Too bad!! There is a market for this kind of food.

I found this in CT. best magazine and was excited to try it out- It was a disappointment as soon as I walked in...no welcoming atmosphere, very dark...reminded me alittle of subway but not as bright. The pies were good though but exspensive...

Meat pies are EXCELLENT! Love the shepherd's pie. Sweet pies are not good, so stay away from them. The crust is hard and not really good. But the meat pies are to die for!

Food was good with an interesting backstory. I believe on some type of TV show now? The coolers looked a ittle bare it just must have been the time of day or something. Definitely more of a take out restaurant ..

We originally stopped in a few months ago to purchase a quiche, but they had sold out. The personable owner suggested we pre-order. This past Friday my wife called in an order for an eggplant, tomato, basil and pesto quiche, but was told that we could not pre-order when using a coupon. No big deal, but a bit confusing. On... TL;DR -- Literally the only complaint I have about this place is that it's not open 24/7 to cater to my need for their Little Piggy Pasty and Yardbird chicken pot pies. (And that's not even a complaint, since I wouldn't have those needs if I'd never been to this place to begin with.) A weird thing happened to me... More

I used a groupon to try different pies to sample. Good taste but very pricey. I wouldn't pay full price for the little pies I bought.
