We went for dinner on a Saturday evening. We asked for and got the room where the music was being played. We were not disappointed. Not too loud, very trendy and upbeat. Great comfortable listening to a three piece band. Food wise, we tried the "blooming onion", (decadent), the port tenderloin, the steak, and the flounder with almonds. All were... More

Brunch costs USD 26.00 and it includes a mimosa or bloody Mary. I think the price is pretty fair. Food selection is limited. I did not see pastries and they not have jam. On the positive side, the roast beef was very good. They had a few cakes for dessert that were uninspiring. Why a four in my rating? The... More

Have eaten there for lunch and dinner. It's really good. Just had their chicken pot pie. Excellent. Was with friends to dine there often and they're never had a bad meal. Charming early American ambience. Antique gallery upstairs. Probably not Revolutionary but pretty old and charming.

This was our first visit to the Long Ridge Tavern. We had a coupon for a discount and decided to try it. We loved it so much we're already looking forward to a return visit and know the entree choices we'll order. It impressed us that even on a week night the place was full. The atmosphere is quaint and... More

There are reasons beyond its historic New England charm to dine here. I recently joined seven colleagues for lunch and the food was good and the service was professional and attentive. I had sea bass which was the luncheon special and it was well prepared and the price very reasonable. For many years I have lived in a nearby town... More

Year after year - busy after visit this wonderful countryside tavern offers true local charm, warm hospitality and good food. The owners genuinely care about their patrons and the staff that care of them. The Calamari appetizer is always a great starter. The portion is generous and the it is cooked just right. Dinner entrees such as the Grouper are... More

I ordered a steak and it had absolutely no flavor. Bathrooms are small, uncomfortable and have a quirky smell. The place has potential but needs a makeover.
