The food and the service were fantastic. The wine menu extensive. The service first rate. Whether you eat in the tap room or the main dining room, you are in for a good experience.

The restaurant was lovely however was very disappointed in the menu when your staying for a period of time. It was the same se,edition over the week which became very predictable. The service on occasions was very sparse but professional and friendly when there.

Disappointing food, service not what you would expect at this level: Empty water glasses, burnt roll on lobster roll. tiny portions with high price. Though lobster bisque was delicious, could not erase other deficiencies. Location and grounds nice, but would not return for lunch!
We celebrated my mom's big birthday at the Mayflower. It was the perfect day; the private room was sunny, bright and sophisticated; exactly what I wanted. The food was excellent and beautifully presented.
